No update since the procedural fairness letter last Nov. We sent email to our VO (manila) for updates, but no response (only got the automated response that their response time is 28 days). So we ordered another set of gcms notes. Hopefully we’ll receive it by march. Our only hope is until now they havent given us a refusal letter and as i read somewhere here, it’s hard to refuse PNP applicants because cic will have to consult the province first.
why did you receive a procedural fairness letter? what is their concern about?

Hello All,

I am new to this forum. I want to submit EOI to NB but i have few questions . Does it required to be current living and working in NB to be eligible to apply? I read the guidance on official website but i am confuse about this requirement. My score is 77, is it positive to get the ITA? Thank you for your time to answer my questions

Currently EOI window is opened only for those who is in NB already as mentioned on official website. 77 score is enough for receiving ITA but you must have connection to NB. But in 2019 there will be a lot of changes for immigration programs so nobody knows what to expect .. all we can is monitor official website or try to choose other ways to live in Canada

Yeah i see that requirement in the official website but the guidance book didn’t mention about on eligible factors so i’m kinda confused. Thank you for your response.

@NzKhn Hi! So when are you going to Land?

For me, I will be landing on June 2019 after Ramadan... We are ready, tickets and everything.... ;):D
We are planning to do a soft landing in July in Sha Allah

Which airline did you book with?

I'm currently in 2 minds about doing a soft landing or just moving permanently in July..... wondering about the job market as well the thought of having to face a Canadian winter a couple months after landing :eek:o_O

They requested for more common law proofs. Anyway, manila vo already replied to our email that our additional docs have been added to the file. So it’s waiting game again.

Don’t worry @pizzacat i think your PPR is on the way. I saw many people got their PPR in 6 months. So hope for the best.

I forgot to update here. But as per latest gcms (dated jan 28)
Eligibility met
Criminality not started
Security not started

It only took them few days or weeks from eligibility “review required” to “met”. Not sure if this was just because the review required was for stat question only.

In the officer notes though it says “eligibility passed” but with comments on our common law relationship which was also the time they requested for procedural fairness letter.

Today is the estimated date of completion but still no update since December (last update) when they added the things we sent to them in response to the letter. Hopefully we get PPR soon just enough to give us time to prepare to move.
