Mar 24: Passport delivered at Ottawa, signed by R. ROSEE
Mar 30: Tracker updated saying passport received
Mar 31: Case approved in portal and counterfoil generated
April 3: Status in Tracker changed to closed

Congratulations!!!!
My passport is delivered on March 27 and the tracker is yet to be updated

4/3/2023: Passport delivered at Ottawa

Now counting the days until IRCC updates me the process......Fingers crossed.

Hi You have any update? Mine similar situation. Counterfoil issued and approved on Apr 04. Since then no update at all!

A final update:
4/11/2023: Application Status Updated to "Approved" with counterfoil information listed.
4/12/2023: Case status in tracker updated to "Closed" with acknowledgement of receiving my passport.
4/13/2023: FedEx return envelope tracking updated with next day delivery back to the States.

I am surprised with the whole process of how fast they are processing the submission these days given the fact there is a strike looming.

Kudos to them! Thanks everyone for the moral support!

Hey guys. I need help. my passport is stuck in Ottawa since March 7. When I raised webform to ask for status, they said I need to upload commercial invoice. I did send them the commercial invoice but it has been more than 2 weeks and no movement in passport. I raised webform again but they are not replying. I need to get passport for a upcoming travel.

I submitted my passport on April 17, and fedex delivered it on April 18, and says it was signed by A.Rouna. The tracker has not been updated and now since there is a strike I am afraid that it will be really delayed before I get my passport back. Is there an email address than I can email to check if they received my passport or a phone number from outside Canada?

Here's my timeline so far:

RFV: March 28
Passport sent through Fedex : April 17
Passport delivered through Fedex : April 18
Passport received (updated on tracker) : April 21
GCKey Portal update (approved with counterfoil number) : April 25
Application closed: April 25

Fedex tracker not activated yet
