We are in the same Boat.My check was encashed on Dec 31 2010. Iam not able to Check Ecase still they don put my information in system.

It seems we few people only left behind in the race facing too much delays

All of us went through the same delay. It took CIC 3 months from check encash date to send us AOR and medical requests last year. Counting from Dec 31st please expect to see your AOR by first week of April.

You are right we are amongst the few people left behind but I think we are the one of the last people in this forum bcause after 24th August AINP stop the programme and increased the time line up to 24 month so we do not have presure of becklog files...we hope that will hepl us..THanks

My application sent date is July 31, 2010, and I think my check got cashed around Sept 27, 2010.

Oh dear King80, I am so happy for you. You are sooooooooooo done my friend with all these waiting times and anticipations. You can now relax and give yourself a rest. Its was not an easy ride bro. I know how is that.

But yeah I am still not done and you gotta help me out lol.

1. When you sent your envelope (i assume through fedex), did you affix that bar code label that we got from Buffalo on the outside of the envelope?
I USED USPS EXPRESS MAIL OVERNIGHT SERVICE TO SEND MY DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH THE PREPAID SAME TYPE OF ENVELOPE. sO NOT SURE ABOUT FEDEX.
2. Which service did you use for the return service? If you used fedex, how did you do it?

3. Are you in USA or Canada (Before landing lol)?

4. Anything you have that you can share with us? Also when do you think I should be receiving my passport back?
I THINK THEY STAMP PASSPORTS VERY QUICKLY BUT THE ASS_ _ _ _) IN THE MAIL DISPATCHING IS NOT DOING HIS JOB . EVEN THEN I DONOT EXPECT IT TO TAKE MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AFTER THEY HAVE RECIEVED UR PASSPORTS. GOOD LUCK

SORRY I MIS UNDERSTOOD YOUR FIRST QUESTION. I DID NOT PUT THE BARCODE SINCE IT DID NOT HAD THE LAST PART OF MY FIILE NUMBER (HG) ON IT. I SIMPLY WROTE THE FILE NUMBER FROM NY ON THE ENVELOPE

I wanted to ask a question. When did the consulate received the RPRF money order and when did they cash it. Were they before you sent the PPR and the stamping?

i CHECKED WITH MY BANK ON 03/17 FOR THE CASHIER CHECK I HAD SENT AS RPRF FEE. I WAS STILL NOT ENCASHED. BUT THEY HAD ALREADY STAMPED AND SENT MY PASSPORTS. I GUESS CASHIER CHEQUE AND MONEY ORDERS ARE GUARANTEE IN ITSELF.

Gentlemen, I received my AOR but I don't have a medical request yet because they require me to submit my original approval letter from AINP for some reason I forgot to attached it on my package application. Now I already sent the required documents day after. Any idea how long does it take me to wait for my medical request.

Appreciate your reply bro. Holy moly, I did not write my file number outside the envelope nor did I affix the bar code. Do you think that can lead to me getting my passports late. I mean if they see your file number on the envelope, so right away they know that it is your passport and they send it to stamp your passport. If you dont write it, they might keep it aside and open it in queue with other files thinking it is a new application etc etc...I dont know man I'm being insane here I know, but I cant help. I think I should have written the file number...lets see how much does this mistake cost me..

don't worry ..Here is my 2 cents:

1.NY wont get many applications ( Buffalo is the head office that what they want us to write file numbers out side the mail because they get many applications everyday)... with out the file number may delay your stamping a day or two not more than that ,otherwise NY office would have mentioned that in their email..

2. If you dont write it, they might keep it aside and open it in queue with other files thinking it is a new application etc etc...

You cannot directly apply to NY office..only visitor visa applications are processed here ..all immigration files have to be transferred from buffalo. Most of the others visas , generally people directly go to the embassy and apply . the address itself says " immigration section" , that means the mails delivered are related to immigration . even if they open in queue that should be fine ( i think they get just about 5 mails every day)..

just take you as example:

your file was there (NY) for almost 4 months and how many time you have contacted then using a snail mail..( probably none).. only if they need additional docs then we use snail mail..
