Hello,
I submitted two separate applications for my mother and my father for the 2025 PGP intake, as they are divorced.
In November, I received a request for additional documents for my father’s application, asking me to update the IMM 0008 to include my stepmother, even though she is not accompanying him to Canada.
After that, I realized I had made the same omission in my mother’s application by not listing my stepfather, who is also not accompanying her to Canada. I understand that IRCC still requires non-accompanying spouses to be listed as dependents and marked as not accompanying.
Today, I received a request for additional documents for my mother’s application. However, unlike my father’s case, IRCC did not request a resubmission of IMM 0008, despite the missing stepfather information. They only requested IMM 5406 for my mother and sister, likely because I entered “N/A” instead of “unknown” for some email addresses.
My question is: should I submit only the documents specifically requested, or would it be advisable to also include an updated IMM 0008 and IMM 5669 for my stepfather, even though IRCC did not explicitly request them?
My concern is to have my application rejected due to missing information or something during the processing. Or they would request more additional documents later?
