Hi,

Is anyone who is under AINP planning to land in Aug/Sep this year? and also if anyone is planning to land at places other than Alberta?

Hi I am planning to land at that time, but I want to land in Alberta.

the waiting got the better of me, and I sent CIC buffalo an enquiry email last night requesting status of my application.

This morning I received the standard reply : " your application is in process, we are not able to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete"

It is great to see really good information about landing here.
How is going with the passport request though. I remember there was a list of people whose files are in NY. Did all those ppl get pp request.
In my case, my medical was done in end of july last year and my son's medical was done by end of august and I have not received pp request yet. My file got transfered to NY on jan 5th. I have asked NY office about my status couple weeks ago and no reply. It is already middle of may and nothing.
What should I do? How should I contact NY office?

we both seems to be sailing the same boat. My file got transfered to Detroit on 5th Jan 2011. I did my medical in end of July last year. I tried checking my status there..but no news!!!

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding AVR.
I came to USA with 'A' employer visa stamped on my passport(H1-B) and I transferred my H1-B to 'B' employer. Still my passport has a expired visa with 'A' employer.

So can I use AVR in this case ? Planning to land before August 2011.

Friends, I guess it was my turn, I got PPR today!!!!!!!!! very unexpected but very happy ;D My attorney informed me this afternoon that my case was approved and I have until 8/1 to submit passport.

Thanks for everyone's help, and guys who submitted before me just hang in there, my case maybe speedier because my status is single and I live close to Buffalo so my case wasn't transfered.

In any case, good luck to all and I'll continue to share my experience.

I was curious to know that after the file transfer, does our address link get disappear, which may be the indication that they are working on the file and PPR is expected soon. Something like below
1> Address link get disappear
2> File is transfer
3> Address link get disappear
4> PPR is issued.

Just want to share my timeline, and sorry for the mess format, since I cann't remember most of the date now.

Be usuing this website for a while, good luck to all ppl, and thank you for everyone's sharing.

and I got RPRF request & original police clearance on May 10th, 2011, and just sent it yesterday.

Hey how's it going i really thought you already got your ppr already. It seems that they are somehow delaying issuance or requesting ppr with more than 3 family dependent's but it's just my hunch though. My BFD will be next month 1/06/2011 and i again ordered another caips notes just to be sure if something might change. I did try to request from bufffalo couple weeks back but nothing no reply . I just hope they haven't reached their quota yet.

yes...address link do disappears...and that too multiple times. The forum members do have this perception that it happens when they are working on the case. Mine disappeared multiple times..but still sitting and waiting for my PPR....

This whole thing is getting more and more ridiculous. If they are not issuing ppr's and not even replying decently, what the hell are they doing? NY does not even accept walk ins!!!
Now I have like 2 months before expiry of my medicals.

Yup...we've got less time...but only thing we can do is hold tight our patience and WWAAIIIITTT!!! It is harassing. Did you apply thru a consultant??
