I am reviewing my COPR's and have a question for seniors who have their PR's in hand. They have issued the COPR validity only for an year as my passports going to be expired in a year. I am planning to do landing formalities this April or May and would like to know if they give PR cards till COPR validity or for 5 year period. How that works, can some detail the PR cards processing with timelines. Thanks in advance!

For those who have submitted their Passports and RFRP Fee together to the Buffalo office, how long normally it took Buffalo to cash the check?
Just curious how long it will take for my RFRP to get cashed. It hasn't been cashed yet, Buffalo received it on Monday (3/7/11). I know it is kind of just 5 days but would be nice to have an idea of how long it is taking in general.

Photo specification help

you guys might have seen my earlier post where i mentioned that i did not send the photos with date on the back in correspondence to my PPR from NY.

PPR letter states :

Photographs
! Four (4) additional photos for yourself and your accompanying dependants. (Please see the
following instructions)
*** IMPORTANT REMINDER***
- On the back of one photo of each person (principal applicant and each family
member), write the person's name, and enclose one photo of each person in an
envelope.
- Enclose the rest of the photos of the principal applicant and family member in a
separate envelope.
! Height and eye colour - for every person proceeding to Canada- ( see following page for
instructions)

Should i sent another set of photos with the date on the back?

I don't know about the NY office, but the buffalo office's requirements for photos are here, read the .pdf file in that link. It never mentions writing name or anything on the back of the picture. The link is on the Buffalo consulate site:

Adding spouse and few kids to the application should not affect you timeline if you timely provide all the required documents. My case is a family of 3 members and the file was processed smoothly without delay so far. But some cases with a timeline earlier than me are stuck in Buffalo now, some are singles I guess. So don't worry. Your AOR should come pretty soon.
