I am filling out my minor son's OCI application who was born in Canada. The checklist asks for these documents. Where do I upload them? I don't see any options in the document dropdown.

• Parents current passport
• Parents Indian passport
• Parents surrender certificate
• Parents COPR
• Declaration + NOC

Also, can I add parents driver's license as minor's address proof?

Yes, any of the parents driving license can be uploaded as minors address proof.

I made one document which has my son current passport as first page, next page my passport, third page my wife passport. I put heading for each page like applicant passport, father's passport and mother passport on respective page of the pdf doc. I uploaded copr for all in this document as well.

Same thing for indian Passport.

I uploaded declaration and Noc along with the birth certificate.

Hi they want self attested documents??? I am going to submit my application in person at BLS..

I called BLS and they told me that they are not accepting the OCi application bcz the portal is down from 1 week.

The physical copies submitted at BLS must be self attested.
Online uploads doesnt needs to be self attested.

Well, I submitted 2 application last Friday and my son's application 2 days ago at BLS ottawa.

You are welcome. Yea you can call and inquire. My status showed Processed on may 19 for old format website. Then the new website format said granted on May 16. So it was actually granted 3 days earlier. Bls just received today. So hopefully yours will reach bls in next two days. No harm calling.

did you opt for pick up or delivery to your address ? depends on option you chose.

Submitted Application at BLS Brampton In Person: April 16, 2025
Date Of Acknowledgement: May 9, 2025
OCI Website Status Updated as Granted: May 30, 2025.
