Nothing yet, I hope will get some update by end of this month.

I got my GCMS notes, today, it generated on April 14, 2014.
Looks like the application was still in CIO Sydney a month ago.

Hi everyone :),

I have been reading the last few pages of this thread, but haven't gone through it all, so please forgive me if I'm asking an already answered question.

  • My PNP application (from inside Canada) for PR was submitted November 15, 2013.
  • I received my application number email in January 2014 with a message that it would be forwarded to a visa office
  • On the Client Application Status website, it currently says "Application Received" and that medical results have been received

My questions at this point are:

  • Police certificates: I mailed them to the Ottawa visa office as soon as I received them in the mail (Feb 2014). Aside from a delivery confirmation by Canada Post, I haven't received any notification from CIC that it was received. Did I make a mistake by mailing it to Ottawa office instead of Sydney CIO?
  • I have a bridging open work permit that runs from March 2014 - March 2015. What happens if I have not received my PR status then? I have heard that the reason the bridging WPs are 1 year long is because people received PR within 1 year. Is that true? If Not, am I supposed to apply for a renewal in 2015?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Congratulations to the Nov 2013 applicants who are in the "In Process" phase. Mine has been on "application Received" since January.

i hope that your will turn soon.

regarding mailing the Police Certificates to Ottawa, i did the same as in the AOR email they mentioned that your file will be transfered to your visa office which is Ottawa in my case.

regarrding OBWP, let's hope you will get your PR application approved before the permit expired, but of course if happened you will apply for extension and it is subject to CIC approval.

Hi guys.

Why they still not processing after nov. first week, even complete application, nothing after medical..................

Aor email says" forward any future correspondence to the indicated visa office", I guess you dido the right thing.

because of the immigration policy last year, tons of people applied in Oct and Nov in Alberta and other provinces, we can check our file number EPxxx to see how many people applied.

You are right Ken. There were drastic changes in SINP rules as well.
