Hi All,

I landed today! @ Peace Bridge (Fort Erie). I had the following documents: Passports, CoPR, employment letter, bank statements, current work permits.

Took a U-turn. Informed officer at the counter that we're here to land and that we took a U-turn. He asked me following: Any goods to import from home country - said no. $10,000 cash - said no. Any duty free items - said no. Then he gave me a slip and asked me to park the car. We (my spouse and I) went inside the building. The officer asked me if I'm here to complete landing - said yes. She took our passports and CoPRs. Asked us to sign the CoPRs. She stamped the visa and signed CoPR. She explained our rights as PR (no voting, no top level govt position) and our obligation to retain PR(must stay in Canada every 2 our of 5 years). She didn't ask for any other documents (bank statements, current work permit etc) . Finally she congratulated us. The whole process took 10 mins.

I wish everyone the best. This forum has been a great support.

Thank you !

Congratulations!
I was hoping to land on Christmas Day, but I guess it's not happening. :'(

I'm wondering if I can claim a MAC book or something on goods to import list now, then later buy mac book in States and bring it back. That'll save me quite a bit of customs. :P

Thank you !

Also, my ecas status is now complete.

5. You landed at peace bridge on dec 19 and became permanent resident.

I hope that everyone will get good news soon. Also, happy holidays :)

I sent to cost recovery only and the work was done.

There is an entry on my GCMS notes about the receipt of the fee.

Regards,
Gigoin

Today it's been updated to Decision Made.

At last, I received requests to undergo medical, bio data and RPRF this morning.
Since I am in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and my belly getting really big, I won't be going through chest X-ray at the moment.
CPP-O put my application on hold since early December (according to GCMS note), but I am glad all requests finally came in.

Congrats to those who have successfully landed and best of luck to the ones who are still eager to hear from CPP-Ottawa.
