Congrats and all the best for your landing.

All,

If you're planning to reuse the medical you'd undergone for temporary residence or planning to undergo upfront medical exam, keep one important thing in mind: The PR visa (and COPR) expiry date will be 1 year from the date of medical exam. This may create challenges for landing when you're traveling from home country.

ok...guys I am giving u all hopes..even after waiting for 1 more than year..theres nothing except AOR while many have even landed by now...looks like my luck is really bad :(

All the best with Landing .Do share your experience with us!

Hi guys. I have a question. I am traveling (flying) to US next week. I have a US visa. I dont have a Canadian visa to re-enter Canada. I heard I can re-enter on my valid work permit. I actually read this on CIC webpage a long time ago. But I can not find it now.

Can someone confirm this? Or help me find the written statement on the website?

Thanks!!

Hi Guyz,
I have a problem, I sent out passports by Canada ExpressPost on Dec 12th. The tracking page of canadapost still shows In Transit.
I am worried because I sent it to the CPP_Ottawa, 365 Laurier Avenue West address.
I thought express post is handled by the same way as courier.
Now I don't know whether they will accept it or they will send back the passports? I could not track further through canadapost..
Any one sent the express post to laurier address before?
Should I wait further or ??
please advise....

I think you should be fine. I have seen cases sent to both addresses. They were all fine. I am gonna send my passport in a few weeks as well. still havent figured out which address is the right one to use. I guess that is not a big issue.

You may need visa if traveling by plane / train / bus. Note that the problem is not with canada immigration, but with the commercial carrier - they may refuse entry to the plane becuase visa is expired and work permit clearly says not valid for travel.

If traveling by private vehicle, work permit will suffice.

From my experience, don't trust Canada post website. Did you try calling customer service for the updates?? In my case, I couldn't track my passports sent on December 9 and the delivery was only confirmed when I called customer service.
