Now its a race to the finish line.
Canada would be celebrating if they dropped in our 6 mexican spouses all at once

Ya and especially where they sometimes seem to do things in waves.. I have a feeling some people will get the PPR the same time. If we were driving we could car pool! lol

We're all so close. I think we need to add 'PGR sent' to the spreadsheet.

We went to a soccer game in Toronto last night at the BMO field. Santos Laguna vs Toronto FC. It was so fun and my husband's first professional soccer game. I thought I'd be bored but it is way more fun live. I am not a sports person but I want to go again! Santos Laguna won 3-1. Traffic was insane because of the ex - we got into the ex for free because of the game so we got to check that out. It is very similar to the county fairs in California but did have a different feel to it. The food building was so packed but so much yummy stuff. And there were gambling games and a casino - that was different, lol. Anyway I think my husband is starting to enjoy life here more so that is good!

Yeah I'm looking forward to going to soccer games. My husband is a massive soccer/football fan! I don't care for sports either. But it definitely is more interesting to be there in person. We actually went to a football game in Mexico and the fans were crazy!! lol

we just got an email from the embassy saying they used our prepaid waybill to send us correspondance or something like that.
and to wait for the mail to arrive.

so i am assuming and crossing my fingers it is the PGR letter, they didnt specifically say! but i dunno what else it would be!

Tbaxter the PGR in your husbands city is only taking 5 days? Ours is ready on the 31st and it feels like forever waiting for it. Were going to call today and find out if its ready.. When my MIL was there she said the place was so empty, so lets see

When your MIL went to get the PGR, how long did it take her to give them the papers and such.

My husband is gunna have to go during work. So he's hoping he will be able to do it fast. As his lunch is an hour. But its about 15 min there and 15 back to get to the pgr office.

Yes ours is suppose to be ready on Friday. But since he's the first one to have this done in his state office.. I'm a tad bit nervous, but thankfully his friend is the one processing it, or he was going to go to Mex City to do it.

So this is what I have from memory.

Me - Should be picked up Aug 31
MC - Should be picked up Aug 31

When your MIL went to get the PGR, how long did it take her to give them the papers and such.

Well i gave her a prepackage of everything she needed so she just had to present it .. I think it took a little while though (I can ask her exactly how long) because she said while she was waiting the offered her a coke LOL!

does anyone know how long it would take regular DHL to get from mexico city to GDL??/

its weird. when we were at dhl. we paid to send documents from mexico city to mexico city express and it was only $197.
we also bought the retorn but from mexico city to GDL and it says domestic. not express but it was the same price $197...


also they said they sent it dated august 27.
but i checked again this morning and dhl isnt showing anything for the apparent tracking number we got...
