I'd like to get our notes just because I am curious. I never paid attention to the directions before. Anyone know the easiest way to get them?

When your MIL went to get the PGR, how long did it take her to give them the papers and such.

My husband is gunna have to go during work. So he's hoping he will be able to do it fast. As his lunch is an hour. But its about 15 min there and 15 back to get to the pgr office.

He will probably need a bit more time than an hour. When my husband went it was pretty fast for them to check the papers (like 10 minutes) and there was no line, but then it seriously took them like an hour to do all the fingerprints.

of course everything is soo slow in mexico lol.

well when he got his precartilla, he got it the same day, so im hoping maybe all the government offices in gdl are faster! haha.
but if not. either way he works by himself in the office and hes been needing to buy some supplies but has been holding it off so he can use getting the supplies for work as an excuse for the pgr on the same day lol.
;D

Ya and especially where they sometimes seem to do things in waves.. I have a feeling some people will get the PPR the same time. If we were driving we could car pool! lol

We're all so close. I think we need to add 'PGR sent' to the spreadsheet.

i've been wondering the same thing about the ppr's coming in waves. we submitted our pgr 4 weeks ago and no ppr yet. so maybe they're waiting to do a batch all at once. hopefully they're not on vacation!

wow. i dunno what they are doing with your FBI.
but clearly they are working very slowly.

if i remember correctly, you emailed them? and they responded saying they had your fbi?

or is my brain just making things up haha

They didn't exactly say they had my FBI, though they insinuated that they did get it. Here's the response to my case-specific enquiry.

Dear Mr. Buff, bearded Mexican (altered by me obvi, lol),

If you have recently submitted documents or information to this office, we will update your file accordingly.

Due to high application volumes, we cannot acknowledge receipt of every fax, mail or other correspondence (documents or information).

If we require additional documents, we will contact you.

Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

---------------------

Basically they told me to shut the hell up and wait until they contact me. Which probably means they did check whether my FBI document was there.

And yeah, I agree they're working super slow. I can sort of understand it since I was a failed refugee. They're probably making sure everything is in place for the PPR. Or at least this is what I want to believe.
