'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

Hello, I did my medicals on July 3, 2017 and got update "You passed Medicals" on GCKey Account. They also confirmed that other documents were received and been reviewed. What next please?

@romano : Did you appear in interview? if not then why your application has been delayed for such a long time?

application filled 2010 june / after second medical in may 2017 .. status changed to decision made 18 .nov . i want to know how long it take to inform abt decision .

For me I’m waiting since August 2016 when i did my medical and paid my fees! taking in consideration that i did my interview on July 2016 and according to the VISA officer she was satisfied with my case.


Each time i follow up with them i get the response that my application is under back ground check! while on GCMS note its mentioned that eligibility was passed, only security part is hidden.


I’m really disappointed and bored. I’m waiting since November 2014


Any suggestions guys?

I applied on April 2017 and they sent medical request at my husband’s adddress on June and I missed it unfortunately because I thought they send it to my email like all other requests. But now I’m confused what to do? Does this effect the process of my application longer? Because background check has not started it yet too.

MR done on 7th June 17, RPRF on 19 June 17 and renewed passport submit on 04th July 17.

Based on ur information medical is before background check? Then what is criminality check?

My interview was not called. dont know any reason of delay. it took almost 3.5 years. you will soon get PPR i hope. in my case also it took 4 months after medicals. all the best.

Hi all, I explored this forum few months ago, the community is so wonderful that i'm influenced to share my story. My brother sponsored our parents and me (being a dependent child) in 2009 and I guess our case has longest processing time than most members. We had to undergo medical twice in Oct 2016 and Nov 2017 because my dad's medical took too long as they kept asking for further medical investigation.

At last 'Medical results have been received' showed up on November 29, 2017. Here is the timeline:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 1, 2009.
2. We started processing your application on March 9, 2015.
3. We sent you a letter on September 4, 2016. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. We sent you a letter on May 27, 2017. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received.

It has been so stressful for the family to wait almost a decade! but we're hoping it's finally happening.. Hope that's helpful/motivational for someone on this forum

We are expecting for PPR but I would appreciate if someone could advise what can be the possible next steps in our case and duration, I am from Pakistan, VO is London.
