Asking for extention on PPR submission

Hi,

I received my PPR request but had to ask for an extension as I have important work travel that cannot be skipped but now I'm getting worries if it dings our PR. Can anyone with experience in this regard share any insights please?

How long are you asking for. Technically no extensions but within a certain time period tends to be fine. How much longer do you need?

I’ve asked for 20 days as I’ve urgent work travel that I can’t get out of. I’ve attached flight, hotel reservations and conference registration.

Is that going to be okay?

Up to the VO. Assume you included proof of these confirmed reservations. If you haven’t heard back submit passport as soon as your return home. Better to ask forgiveness than wait for an answer most of the time. Not a significant amount of time so likely will be fine.
