Greetings from a sunny 35c beach on a Greek island... Drinking beer while tanning is something that I will surely miss if I ever get approved to live in Canada

trade places with me!!! I hate it here... we are in Newfoundland. Hubby is from here - unfortunately. :( However, as soon as I am able to work, we're heading out west. Neither of us is happy in this province...

wow New Delhi is a very fast VO! congrats! Sponsor Approval please come soon..

Hopefully a day or two, probably on monday or tuesday - but the agent could not tell you on the phone what was the decision ? that's strange, normally they can tell what's in the letter!
Good luck with waiting - don't scare the postman! :)

Greek island vs Newfoundland....

Sure :)

It's been 16 days. Still can't log on to ecas. Have called CIC and entered my uci & it says you need to be transferred to an agent.... surprise surprise but no agents available. A little concerned about this.

Wow, finally got through. So we have two uci's.... one for him and one for me. Didn't know that. Anyway, ecas now works. Phew.

How long have you been waiting for the option c printout? That's the only thing we're waiting for before we can send our application.

Good luck to you!

I didn't wait for my Option C, I just printed out the last 12 months of pay statements and put a note saying why I did this instead of my option C. I was approved as a sponsor

No more good news today??? :o

Glad to hear it works! do you see anything different with the applicant's UCI? I only have the one from the sponsorship approval, and I have been using that to check my file ( I'm the applicant), but there is no news, so I'm curious what I could see with my own UCI - how did you get it? over the phone from CIC?

I think basically the same info. But If you log in with applicant's information, you will not see sponsor's information, e.g. sponsorship approved., what you see is all about you.

From the way CIC works, I would not bother with logging in and finding information. It will be at least several months to see some progress. I found that if I don't log-in, it gives me a peace of mind. ;)

Ok - I thought so too... not checking it too often either, because not much happening, and apparently London VO doesn't update it too often. so I'll just wait! :-)

I think this whole immigration process is a test of character and a test of your relationship (god knows filling in those forms together was stressful!! haha)

Can you imagine if you were not being genuine with your relationship the stress you would be under? I am terrified of ours being rejected for whatever reason, even though I know our relationship is 100% and we shouldn't be!

Think I will need a long holiday once this is all over ;D
