If you applied in 2019 - You're within 12 months. You have nothing to complain about at this point. I know that's not what you want to hear but your attitude towards this is a bit ridiculous. My husband is Irish and we were processed at LVO. 11 months process time. Pakistanis aren't the only ones who have to wait. Visa offices are busy. It's the way it is and always have been. Any government is slow and as I'm sure you've been told, many delays are incurred on the part of your government - not LVO or Canada.
I agree. I know it's frustrating but everyone should please keep in mind that as long as our applications are processed within 12 months, it's fine. While it would be nice if they could hurry up, I will take 12 months over the ridiculously long processing times from a few years ago.

I agree ....!!! Also for March applicants it’s 10 months as of now so let’s say 10 months more to go ;)

I received the payment request on May 7 and our rep helped us pay on May 8. Still waiting for the request letter now.
I just received the Bio instruction letter from my rep. :)

The beginning of the process - AOR1
Creating a GCKEY account
Sponsorship Approval
CIC sends requests
PA Processing
  • Your application will then be transferred to your local VO, or in some instances CPC-Mississauga. CIC will send an email to the sponsor confirming which VO it has gone to. https://imgur.com/a/fjKRY
  • Once the VO begins to process the application, they will send the PA an email to confirm they have receipted the application, this is known as AOR2. Not all VO's send this email, however. https://imgur.com/3KAwhoK
GCKEY Updates
  • GCKEY goes through various changes during the final stages, again, this doesn't happen for everyone, unfortunately, and you may find your application show eligibility and background checks in progress from the moment you link your account. You'll see the following towards the end of the process: https://imgur.com/XRQq3yO
  • This is the slowest part of the entire process as background and eligibility checks can take a long time to kick in. Some people get ghost updates on GCKEY as the application is worked on. This is shown when the status shows as Application/Profile Updated.
Checking ECAS
  • ECAS allows you to check for updates on the application and during the final stages will show decision made under the principal applicant's section: https://imgur.com/F3yPtfD
Passport Request (PPR) & Confirmation of Permanent Residency (COPR)
  • Once you've received decision made, you'll get a passport request emailed to you: https://imgur.com/a/RRL6H
  • You'll send your passport to the address listed in the email, along with two pictures and the document. If you're from a visa exempt country, they usually request photocopies of your passport rather than the passport itself.
  • Once this has been processed, you'll be issued with COPR: https://imgur.com/a/f79qD
  • COPR will then be mailed to the address you listed in your PPR: https://imgur.com/a/gTdTl
You're then free to land with your COPR.

Credit to @haXudon and @svilli for a few of the images
Next time you copy and paste something somebody else has put together, at least link it to the original post?

We did write what is asked. Address history for Sponsor for 5 years and 10 years for PA. Just wondering how long it takes until Final Decision since they received the requested documents. Thanks

Hey please update me on ur application. My husband is also from iraq our file was received January 23rd and we got biometrics done and file transfer. If you want to keep in contact since it seems like applicants from amman visa office are very minimal so we should stick together lol. Cause i wanna see if amman is slow and annoying as they say
Hey there,
My wife did the biometrics on May 15 and file transferred to Amman in 21 and nothing after. When did you get your file transferred to Amman

Hello, what does it mean if file was transferred from Sydney to CPC-M now to PA's local VO. is this a good sign? Thank you
