I received my oath letter today!

So happy to be done with this process, and really proud I'm going to be Canadian soon.

I will be taking my oath in the Mississauga office. Below is my timeline:

Appl. Received: March 25, 2015.
Appl. Acknowledged: April 10, 2015.
Begin Processing: June 17, 2015.
Citizenship Test: October 19, 2015 (Test Letter sent September 29th)
Oath Ceremony: November 24th

Wish the GTA guys luck, seems like our applications have been moving the slowest. Just be patient and have heart.

We received our Citizenship test invitation, it will be on Nov 18th at 8:02 am

We are so happy we finally moved on, it took almost 4 month since the last invitation that we unfortunately could not attend.

I hope that was it and our RQ is resolved now?

Following is my timeline for citizenship:

> sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 13, 2015.
> started processing your application on September 3, 2015.

When can I expect next step by CIC....and does it make difference if its a family application or single application

Pleased and elated to report that I am now a Canadian! I took my oath only minutes after our new PM was sworn in on Nov 4. It was an especially auspicious and emotional day that I will never forget.

Thank you to all of you for your wisdom, humour, and responses. Going back to my application for PR days, this forum has been my guide and support. I honestly couldn't have trudged my way through this without you all.

Next up is applying for my passport on Monday. My wife and I are planning to take advantage of my cultural access pass by taking via rail to Ottawa next October. Seems apropos!

I noticed that March spreadsheet is showing many applicants having their oath ceremony scheduled for 13 November, which is quite suspicious given that some of them haven't done their tests yet !!! What a childish behavior to mess this sheet up when some people put a lot of time and effort to keep it accurate for the benefit of everyone !!

I don't see what you are talking about. Maybe the dates got removed now? I tried to change my colour from red to yellow as we received our test invitation now, but some cells are protected. Not that it is important, but any idea how to fix that?

I removed the ones that were obviously fake, but not sure about the rest.
