can you guys send an email or try calling canada visa office or embassy in your country?

i emailed and mailed the missing doc, and didn't receive a reply from the email. From what i remember, the NYC visa office doesn't really talk to people. i guess my dear husband will have to make the calls when it's time for it!

I think it's important to remember they were closed friday and monday, also it was repeatedly reported the online system was having major issues/bugs last week. So i am not sure ANY updates have been done online. The processing date still says march 12, and it's been that for nearly 2 weeks now.
I know when i return to work from a long weekend, i've got a lot to catch up on, so it may be best for us all to wait until maybe thursday for better updates. I also don't think calling them the first day back after a 4 day weekend is the best thing to do. Again, we haven't given them that much time to catch up on 3 days worth of work. Also, who knows what is considered a priority for them today. Believe me, i know how stressful this is. I've learned it's not going to help to keep checking hoping CIC changes something on the system. They are taking their time, and we just have to accept that.

well,i got the CPC -M on apr 9,it couldnt log in the online status checking but after few days i logged in with my UCI,it was ok to log in and the stage q was application received but today I just checked and it shows"decision made"

wondering if they will update if they got my med check.or will they update my status when my country's consulate got my application?

Hi sis, i as i read your timeline, i wonder how possibly fast your application got AOR and SA.. we submitted our application march 24,2014 and cic-missisauga received it on march 26,2014 until now we're waiting for their reply.

first of all i am so thankful that I got SA and AOR fast.well my app it weight 1kilo only,maybe that is why they decide so quickly and less work for them.we have our story in it, few pictures, and some other proof of relationship actually its not lots of proof because my husband and I are together 24/7.anyway you start counting from the day they received your app, when it is more than 30 days you need to call them. are you manila vo also?

The first man I spoke to wasn't willing to try to look us up with the receipt number and quoted the information off the processing times page, said to call back in two weeks! So I called back again and spoke to a nice lady who tried looking us up with the receipt number and couldn't find anything We were really hoping they would tell us an e-mail has been generated like a couple of you had luck with last week. She told me to wait until the end of this week and call again if we don't receive anything as it should be coming any day.

receipt numbers don't work for checking application status' even though it's an option given. apparently the only numbers that can be used are file numbers and UCI numbers, which are given in AOR and SA.

The processing times page has been updated. They say it was updated on April 16th, which is BS cause it was updated a few mins back.
And it says there that the packages they are looking at are packages that were received on March 18th now..So umm, what happened about the packages received before that?!

I think they need to update it tomorrow also, so they just put what they should have last week.
Still sounds like I'm out of the running for this week.. but maybe everyone is hopped up on candy and chocolate and will just speed on through the rest of the March applications.

March 14. I called last week to check why I did not receive AOR then after 30 min. I got the email for AOR and this morning I got the email for SA.

Hey-o!

Just wanted to chime in re: calling them. I called them using Skype (I am not in Canada) and at first got the message "this call is not allowed from your calling area" or whatever. I hung up, called again and got through. The woman "looked up" our file using the receipt # then said there was nothing in the system, so the package likely hadn't even been opened yet.

2 hours later we got AOR!

There is a non-1800 number to call.. I'll see if I can find it.
