Just expect to wait on the phone for long time.

I called them at 7:30am central standard time a couple of weeks ago(I think they are supposed to open at 8?) and got to speak to someone very quickly but they couldn't give me any info since it had only been about 17 days, so maybe try calling early. Will be calling again tomorrow as well to see if they can look us up in the system. Praying for some good news, it's been 33 days but feels like a lifetime! Missisauga is just the tip of the iceberg.. but at least we will know everything is okay and ready to be sent to be processed

Go ahead if you want. You need the persons gmail account. Whoever you pick can PM it to you, or if you don't know how to share it they can PM their email to me. :-) I can do it tomorrow around lunch probably.

Why so grumpy? Easter bunny skipped your house last night? Cheer up! Tomorrow you can go to your local department store and buy lots and lots of discount chocolate. Lol

Hi Agarand,

I'm new to this forum and have recently sent off my family class visa application. I wondered if you could add me to the Spreadsheet for March.
Visa Office is London
Application Sent is. March 15th 2014
Date App CPC Missisauga received as per tracking: March 21st 2014

So it's been about 30 days since it was apparently received. Is this expected or should I be worried I've heard nothing?

Thank you.

Hello. I will add you when I get to work today. I think normally 30 days is ok, we did just get off of Easter weekend so if you don't hear anything this week you should give them a call.

Well, it's my first time to attempt to call...i have no expectations and if I end up talking to someone at all, As opposed to an automated machine, I will be a little happier.

If you don't have a UCI number they'll try to just disconnect you after hearing an automated message.. press 0 I believe and you'll get through to an agent.

I think it's the * key actually. And yeah the earlier in the day that you call the better chance you have to get through.

guys kindly update my spreadsheet april 1 2014 I got SA so it took 11 days for me.thanks

Hi sis, i as i read your timeline, i wonder how possibly fast your application got AOR and SA.. we submitted our application march 24,2014 and cic-missisauga received it on march 26,2014 until now we're waiting for their reply.

Wow, I did not realize how many people are over the 30 day mark. Hopefully we will get a LOT of communications this week. We have 7 people who have been waiting over 30 days. Another 4 have been waiting 28/29 days. Yikes. This is getting out of hand.

O_guy, wanting to ask you, I know you told me that your application was previously returned to you because of missing documents. What was the timeframe from when they received it, to when you received it back?

hello everyone, i also applied in March. i have my sponsorship approval email on April 7. I think maybe they had some delays due to easter weekend. I think many people will get their confirmation this week. The thing i am wondering about is what is next..lol. will they contact my spouse any time soon?

How does one in USA contact cic..there is a number I called that transfered me but then I was disconnected , stating i could not make the call in my calling area.

hi everyone,

just checked the online status again,my sponsorship is now"decision made" and the pr is still"application received"

got the AOR and asked for the med check and I already did it last on Apr 10.

im wondering if they will notice me if they got my med check since it says they will update the process 1 weekly and process 2 quarterly,im a lil confused.

Thanks

i am wondering the same thing... the number on the missing document letter we received doesn't seem to work from the US even though it's an 888 number. any thoughts?

I think it's important to remember they were closed friday and monday, also it was repeatedly reported the online system was having major issues/bugs last week. So i am not sure ANY updates have been done online. The processing date still says march 12, and it's been that for nearly 2 weeks now.
I know when i return to work from a long weekend, i've got a lot to catch up on, so it may be best for us all to wait until maybe thursday for better updates. I also don't think calling them the first day back after a 4 day weekend is the best thing to do. Again, we haven't given them that much time to catch up on 3 days worth of work. Also, who knows what is considered a priority for them today. Believe me, i know how stressful this is. I've learned it's not going to help to keep checking hoping CIC changes something on the system. They are taking their time, and we just have to accept that.

The CIC call centre (1-888-242‑2100) will not work if you are not in Canada.

can you guys send an email or try calling canada visa office or embassy in your country?
