Hello kimnavarro

Don't worry too much. Mine was received on Feb 26th and got my AOR on March 22nd and then after another 5 days got my SA. Everyone in March thread will get theirs soon.
Just a little patience!

Congrads Tom and to all the others who got their SA recently. Now the serious processing begins that will require more patience but at least the goal line is closer. Best wishes for a successful finish.

They are probably working apps recieved on the 18-20th. They got mine on the 14th and i got my SA 2 days ago. Cant go by what they post online

NicAnn....Dont worry..I was in the same boat as you.. I also did not attached it with my application and was concerned about it.

I sent my T4 along with an explanation letter and it worked.

My understanding is that for spousal sponsorship, income is not a requirement as long as the person is not on social assistance.

So, don't worry and hopefully you will get SA soon..

good luck

Hi there esr

They shortened the processing time to 28 days from 30 days. That would be good.

I just got a visitor record in by mail.. very interesting. I applied inland, and this visitor record runs out in early august - so once I get AOR or 1st stage approval then i'm good to stay - I don't have to leave by the end of this visitor record then?

Hello .. I sent my wife's application on 22nd March and they received it on 25th March ... I still haven't got my AOR.. or Approval... :(

Hi
I am a permanent resident of Canada and came to India for marriage and didn't went back for 6 months. But now my wife is 3 weeks pregnant. I don't understand the procedure now. Can i apply for my pregnant spouse for PR in Canada. I want the birth of my child in Canada if possible.
If not, than i will have to wait back here in India. Normal processing time is 10-11 months. Is there any chance, if embassy can consider it in a special case and cooperate by immigrating my spouse. It will be difficult for me to start all over again in Canada. I wish to go and start my business there in Canada without any further delay, but need assistance and cooperation.
