I need some advice about my spousal sponsorship case.
My situation is:
Divorce in Canada became effective in April 2005
I did Nikah (Marriage) in Pakistan in February 2005
Rukhsati (living together) happened in 2006
Since 2013, we have been living together in Pakistan
We have two children, one is a Canadian citizen
My concern is that my Nikah (Marriage) happened before my divorce was finalized.
I want to ask:
Will this cause a refusal in spousal sponsorship?
Has anyone had a similar case approved?
Is doing a re-nikah (Re-Marriage) now a good solution?
I want to be honest in my application, so any real advice or experience would really help.
