No update after sponsor eligibility passed . I called IRCC multiple times but couldn’t get to an agent. Just the operator telling me that BGC in process but eligibility is not started yet . What are the other ways to find out the VO ?

my case is PA-india so VO for me is NDVO
Yours highly likely Primary VO-Missisauga and then Local VO would be New york or Los angeles
Any specific VO mentioned in SA Letter or MIL Request?

ok then only way is to request GCMS notes. or get hold of ircc agent.
bgc is likely happening for you in the background

It is really difficult to get in the queue nowadays. Maybe you can order GCMS notes to see progress on the file.. GCMS notes will tell you the progress of all stages and Primary & secondary VO..

Hello, i just logged in the gckey portal and now under Eligibility it says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." before it used to say on 15th sept it said "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." Any idea what can be the next updates and how long? applied on March 12 2026

Noone can predict how long.. But now it will be sponspor eligiblity first and you will recieve email with pdf enclosed once you pass sponspor eligivility.. After that, it would be PA eligibility.. For outland applicants, pre-arrival letter is usually indication that PA eligibility is passed.. But Pre-arrival letter is not issued to all applicants.. Lastly. background check can be started along with eligibility and is usually last step.. Then final step will be portal/PPR..
