If you are in the process of looking for a job and are not on public assistance you should be ok. Just gather all of your proof which would show that they would have no worries of you guys just going on welfare once she is here. My husband had just quit his job when we sent in our application. He decided to start his own business and already had one job contract lined up. So he made copies of the correspondences which proved such, and is now at work on his first job contract, so all is going smoothly even though we were a little worried.

and since im kinda new here are stuff i dont get , they didnt ask for any medicals done for me but my husband that is in cuba he got his done and his child, she isnt commming with they still ask for it

Hi again. No ! You are the sponsor so you do not need medicals. Only your husband who is the Principal Applicant. His child who is not accompanying him does not need to do medicals.

well the child isnt coming but we added her as a dependent just if we decide to sponsor her later so yeah they asked for a medical check for her and a birth certificate for her too ,no police check for her since she isnt over 18.

I didn't know that about the child not accompanying has to do the meds too. Anyways!

Thanks for your reply.. because some of my friends told me that i can sponsor only if i have a full time job... So is it necessary to send an certifcate of employment?
