nope, only the confirmation from Canada Post about the delivery. I have just checked the processing times, at the moment they are working on the applications that arrived on the 25th. When did yours arrive? (mine on the 27th)

as per my courier services it was reached there on 15yh.... but got no news from CIC

Application package for my wife was received on 6th March, 2013. I've received AOR on 15th March..

Online status shows : application received

Passengers on same boat..

I just landed last year..so, don't hv a tax return yet..applied with T4 nd employment verification letter..Not sure if thy'll suffice..

You just joined the ranks of those who felt just like you that day!

So about your apps

Depends how long Canada Post takes to deliver. As soon as they have it you will be able to verify it in your postal tracking. So that's one notch in your scrapbook.
Then you are waiting for an AOR (Acknowledge of Receipt) which will be the first official email you will get from CIC (assuming you included an email address in your apps). In this first email you will also get a UCI (Universal Client ID) and a Case File Number. Now AOR may come to you anywhere between 10 to 20 days or little longer after your package has officially arrived.
Then expect your SA (Sponsor Approval) which if you are lucky it will come to you in 10-15 days after AOR.
Ok as long as you are the Applicant your husband who is the Sponsor will get all the above

After or some days before you have these two letters from CIC you will be able to access e-Cas which is your electronic case file.

At the same time CIC will inform you with your SA that your files will be delivered to your VO (Visa Office)

So be a little patient as there would be a lot of straining days to come. Enjoy this easy period. Take part in the April thread which i am sure someone will start soon.
