If your individual processing time/day count exceeds the current CIC processing time of WP, please take the initiative to seek help from your Member of Parliament (MP) within your constituency (or residential area). Gather all evidence including your application number and let your MP know about your situation. 5. If you paid only $155 and never paid the extra $100 for all OWP holders, please visit these two sites to pay and upload the remaining balance (receipt):
a) Online Payment at: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en. Once you are there follow the instructions below:
Click continue below > Accept disclaimer > Immigration > Temporary residence > Open work permit holder fee > type 1 for number of
applications > Submit > Pay. You will be asked to register on the online payment system in case you are not.

b) Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) at: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?_ga=1.63908399.108801500.1431902909
Use this online form to upload the PDF receipt you received. First fill in your UCI, address, phone etc. Scan and upload it to the CSE.
Also, type a short precise message (in the message box) indicating your reasons. In that message don't forget to include your online
Application Number that begins with a W.

6. ** New TRV for those who want to travel after receiving their PGWP. Processing fee is $100 (the required docs for application include; passport copy, face/head photograph, IMM5257E form, and a copy of your PGWP). Please be aware that your PGWP doesn't give you the right to return to Canada. You need a new TRV that you apply for as a worker NOT as a student. 7. Unless its a family emergency, please make your travel plans carefully and wisely.

My PGWP got approved September 10, and I still haven't got the mail. Is it normal? I guess not..

Mine was approved on September 09 and I am still waiting for it. I contacted CIC and they told me to call after October 21 (6 week) for the new document. I don't know what to do now except waiting for it.

Each week update the procesaing date is only moving by 1 or 2 days. Last weeke they were wotking on May 6th.
I have decided not to check anymore and just wait. This isn't good for my health...

Man, this is totally insane. I feel like they are doing it on purpose - to update the processing time by 1 or 2 days. This way they can turn away any callers calling for PGWP, because well, you application time hasn't exceeded the normal processing time and so you gotta wait.

Ok, I just called CIC and I will share my experience:

Time since I started calling until the end: 29 min (you need a lot of patience!!!) I guess only 5 min talking with the agent

One nice lady answered, and after few questions... the more important ID or application reference... she proceeded to check my application

She told me that everything is ok, she saw my receipt of 100$ I submit after they requested it was there...

And eventually she told me that she is going to send a message to the department to tell them that they exceed the processing time and pleas to make a decission ASAP.

Thats all.

Guys, I tried to call the agent today but cannot find a way to speak to an agent. I chose checking status ending up with typing in the application number and year of birth. It just saying that my application is being processed and no document is needed currently. I do not find an option to speak to an agent :'(
Does Cic have a filter which can block applicantion that is within the "normal processing time"? Or I chose a wrong option during the pre recorded voice? Thanks

Same here, May 12 applicant - gone for additional verification. I talked to my MP office but they couldn't help.
I have heard that it doesn't really take that long though... so hopefully..

Do you know the reason for additional verification? Did you have a semester break or applied for PR in the past by any chance?
