Around 15 pprs reported today for july AORs.. all from Ottawa

hi everyone, are there cases where they have rejected PR after 5 months? I will complete 6 months on 15th December and in IP! since past 5 months. I don't know whether I m looking for an answer here..but sharing it felt better

What's the status of your application? What does your GCMS say?

We are all sailing in the same ark (upgraded from a boat due to huge demand) of ip2 on 15/16 & 24/25/26. There are about 30-40 of us waiting and chilling out here...

Hehehe...none of our cases is rare eh...But yeah, looks like eligibility being formally passed (after being MET/RECOMMENDED PASSED) is what’s holding up our files from moving to security. @Reet_28 - do keep all ark members updated on your file’s progress so we know if anything at all is happening at the backend! Frustrating to wait without any visibility on Ottawa’s mysterious ways...

Can they really initiate BGC and security before eligibility is passed? Or they start with with recommended pass itself?

Yes they can! I know so cuz I spoke to an agent and she said my Eligibility would be passed, then security would begin. FYI, my eligibility is met but not passed yet. And I’m in IP2 as my Criminality is passed and my BGC reads: We are processing your background check. So there...it’s eminently possible...

status: IP1..ordered GCMS notes on 15th Nov. called ircc twice..they are saying the standard reply. I m just anxious whether they will reject my application due to my part time work experience in teaching..as that college was not a very big(in reputation) college..

When next you call IRCC, specifically ask for the status of your eligibility. Ask them if it's review required.
Being in IP1 doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. It could just be that your VO is one of those VOs that moves applications from IP1 directly to PPR. Any idea what your VO is?

IP1- June 22
ADR/LOE-explaining time gap in work experience)- September 14
Procedural Fairness Letter (about FD as POF) -Nov 2
IP2- Nov 7
PPR- Nov 20

AOR 23 of June , moved to IP2 on July. Criminality already passed, eligibility under review for POF. Still waiting...
