My friend wife she was faster she applied in Oct 31 2013 and she did the other on Feb 25 or 24

My Received Line disappared last week and now I called CIC and the agent said my file was just opened and in very beginning stage...... if that is true then the myth of Received line disappearing has no meaning....

it is not a myth, as i said before, received line disappearing means that cic opened your file to start the background checking then prepare to send it to the local office. the local office, depending on Sydney notes, will send you:
1- test invitation
2- RQ
3- finger print

mine disappeared one month ago and i called them and had the same answer as you. i think we have to wait month or too then call then again.
