Hi @legalfalcon,

Just in case, if medical is extended and received PPR mail before baby is born, what we can do? Means, should we have to submit the passport to VO for stamping OR we can put a webform to let IRCC know our situation and do not send passport for stamping?

We want our child born here in India!
Please help!

If your family composition changes, and you receive the PPR, you do not have to send your passport. Even if you send it and PR visa and COPR is issued, they will be cancelled until your new born is added and the documents processed.

So there is no point sending the passport.

But if PPR received before baby born i.e. family composition does not change. In this case, should we have to send passport?

Yes, you can add a family member even after PPR and COPR is issued, right until you land in Canada.

To add a baby, you ca only do that after the baby is born.

AOR 20 July 2020, PNP applied from within Canada, I am still in Canada with my dependents
Medical Passed-10 Sept 2020
Biometric- 01 Oct 2020
Eligibility- Under Review
Background check- In process
Final decision-In process

The IRCC website says only CEC applications are being processed, does this mean Express Entry PNP applications submitted from within Canada are entirely on hold? Or when the site says applications submitted between July 02-09 are being finalized does this include PNP? Thanks!

Medicals can be extended or new medicals can be asked, not really sure about the timelines with everything going on.

No, it won't but it is not a good idea to call them often.
They’ll also get sarcastic with you if you call too often. Personally I tried calling once a month, and it isn’t my fault that it’s been dragging on for almost a year, but they were still quite rude about it.
