do you think its worth applying again under ceec only without pnp and withdrawing the current application, since its been 16 months for me?

No, you have already crossed 16 months, you might get an approval in couple of months, but if you apply for CEC you will have to wait again easily for 6-9 months and get all the documents and fees again. I would suggest you to wait as your file might be in the final stage.

I wont suggest you to go with that as you have already completed 16 months. Still if you wish to do that and have extra money then apply under CEC but dont withdraw your PNP application, so whichever application gives you result first go with that and next application will become void and you will be able to get some amount refund at least RPRF. I am also at 12 months but hope will get approval soon.

Guys could you please advise if I can move to any other province. I have been waiting from 16 months for my PR but nothing happened and it’s really tough to survive on a minimum wage as I have my family to look after and my husband is the only earner. I am PNP FSW express entry applicant. And most of the jobs in Alberta are minimum wage jobs. $2300-2400 dollar is not enough even for survival, Dnt know what to do. Please advise.
I can feel your situation but would suggest you to try hard to find job for you instead of thinking to change the province, hope you have SOWP.

PR card approved and dispatched: June 2nd 2021

Keep the faith people! even when there is no movement the frustration is real, however it does not mean your application is lost or stuck, it will eventually make its way!!

Thank you everyone for your help and guidance and I wish everyone all the best for their future here in Canada :)

that is horrible. I will spend money on another CEC application when I am eligible though I already wait 12 months +. I have a feeling that if they will open my file, it will not take more than 12-15 months maximum to be approved. If not within the course of 12 or 15 months, I believe it is likely to take 2.5 - 3 years to get CoPR even I am inland. My AOR was in May 2020 and to date, NOTHING is passed just yet. I do not have any confidence that IRCC will do their job properly to ensure equality among applicants.

Seems like they are processing AOR in July and August. Maybe by the end of this month, they will start on September
