Although you haven't visited India for a long time but to be safe you should still apply New. It should not be more than 6 months old when you submit your e-APR.

You will need a new PCC. CIC has rejected many cases recently because of that.

Yes, it is fine as PCC was issued after the last time you visited the country.

Six months applies if the PCC is for your current country of residence. For countries other than your residence, a PCC issued anytime after your last stay there is OK.

None of them contradict what I said

1st link - Poster submits a 8 month old certificate from what appears to be his current country of residence as he admits he is not living in Canada.

2nd & 3rd links - I don't see any rejection mentioned. Its just people asking questions about validity of PCC.

The rule is simple

* If PCC is for your current country of residence, should not be more than 6 months old
* For all other PCCs, can be issued anytime after last stay

For the thread creator, the second scenario is applicable.

You can dig more in the forums. There are many similar cases rejected this year.

Please share. There is no chance of IRCC doing something contrary to what they've clearly stated on their website.
All i am answering from my past experience. Its your call to agree or not.
