Hi everyone,
I’m applying for my mom’s Permanent Residency under the Family Class sponsorship (lottery-based) program. Her application was submitted to IRCC, and we’ve now received a request to provide a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from India.

I’m applying for my mom’s Permanent Residency under the Family Class sponsorship (lottery-based) program. Her application was submitted to IRCC, and we’ve now received a request to provide a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from India.
Some details about our situation:
- My mom landed in Canada on June 1st, 2025, on a visitor visa and is currently staying with us.
- She is an Indian citizen with a valid Indian passport.
- Can she apply for an Indian PCC through BLS International in Canada while on a visitor visa?
(We understand she's not a PR or work permit holder — just here temporarily.) - While filling out the online PCC form, there's a section titled:
"Present Address in Country of Domicile"
— Should we enter her Indian address (as per passport) or her temporary Canadian address?
