Humanitarian & Compassionate

Discussion in 'Refugees and Asylum' started by Bobby_786, Mar 16, 2019.

  1. Express Entry - faster and better chances.

H&C approval rates are extremely low.

  2. Even though they asked me for my medical?

  3. Yup. And probably a statistically better chance of being approved too.

  4. A medical request does not mean your chance for H&C is better. It’s procedural.

  5. hi
I have applied for H&R application on February 2018. Since then l didn’t hear anything until march 2019 they send me this letter below asking to submit my medical exam and police clearance and passport and pay for the right for PR.
I’m really confused because l didn’t receive the first approval like l saw before is this normal?
Is this considered as an approval or what?
    Thanks guys

This refers to your application for permanent residence from within Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.
Your application remains in queue to be reviewed by an Immigration Officer who will decide whether or not to grant your request for exemption(s) from certain legislative requirements to allow processing of your application for permanent residence from within Canada.
While a decision has not yet been taken on your request for exemption(s), we are writing today to request that you submit documentation and undergo screening related to your admissibility requirements (and those of your dependent family members). Admissibility relates to medical, criminality, security, financial and identity assessments of each potential immigrant and their family members.
When a decision is made on your request for exemption(s), you will be informed. If the decision is to grant the requested exemption(s), at that time IRCC will again request the documents and examinations listed below if they are not already submitted. At that time the missing submissions will be what is delaying the finalization of your application.
By submitting these requested documents now, before an officer’s decision, you have the potential to speed up the finalization of your application and granting of permanent residence to you (and the family members included) should your request for an exemption(s) be approved.
    MEDICAL EXAMINATION
A medical examination will be required from you (and any family member that has been included in your application, whether accompanying or not) before your application for permanent residence can be finalized. The medical form has been sent to you in a separate email. Please note that Immigration Health Services (RNH) will only accept an immigration medical performed by one of the designated medical practitioners listed

  6. This is not an approval. You have to do what they ask before they even assess if you will be approved or not.

  7. Good luck

  8. I have one question, how I can get a letter from MP. Most of the people here are adding MP letter for H&C. I am also preparing my documents for h&c but I really wants to know how to get letter from MP

  9. No need. What is most important is letters from community members that you have actually interacted with. An MP letter likely carries little weight unless you have been involved with the MP in your community.

  10. Hi
I just done my medical, now they asking income proof, we are 6 family members and my income is $48,000 a year
My lawyer said your income should be over $77000 a year according to immigration income calendar.
I still didn't submit my tax please advice me how important is income is in H & C cases?
I applied on basis of Canadian born Citizen 4 years Autistic kid.
    Regards

  11. Income is important but not the only deciding factor. 48K is not a lot of money to raise a large family plus you may owe personal taxes. Have you filed your business taxes? Autistic children usually need more therapy than is provided. In the case of Ontario the parents need to cover the majority of expenses. You should be really filing you taxes especially since you are applying for H&C. How are you going to prove your income.
