Thanks, I did initially approach my consultant but they don't do GCMS application it seems for whatever reasons. Hence, i posted seeking advice.

I think I will start going to apply GCMS notes by myself because when i checked Official website regarding who should apply, it says any individual present in Canada can apply as shown 2 questions captured in official website. I am temporary worker ..So, i think should be fine .. correct me if i am wrong please.

Who can make a request under the Access to Information Act?
Canadian citizens, permanent residents and any individual present in Canada can make a request under the Access to Information Act

What do I need to submit a request online ?
Proof that you have the right to make a request:
A proof of Canadian citizenship, such as a copy of your passport or citizenship certificate;
A proof of your status as a permanent resident, such as a copy of your permanent resident card; or
A proof of temporary status in Canada, such as a work, study and/or visitor permit.
If you are in Canada then you can request it for free see https://help.gcmsnotes.com/how-to-order/for-free

I constantly keep seeing many people asking how to order gcms notes; although it's been answered hundreds of times on this forum. This is courtesy of Kinza_Bee and many other contributors on how to order GCMS NOTES!

How to apply GCMS / ATIP notes.
Only a person who is in Canada can request the notes. Get your sponsor to request on PA'S behalf!

If principal applicant is in Canada, he/she can request for himself and apply for free under Privacy Act.

If sponsor is requesting it on behalf of Principal applicant, you need consent form from PA and $5 fee. You can receive consent form from spouse via email and upload it. Apply under Access to Information Act.

It takes about 30 days to receive by email. It is a ~30 pages document (can be more than 30 pages)

Consent form:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

Section A - Principal Applicant details
Section B - Sponsor's details
Section C - Sponsor's details

GCMS Notes:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

In above link, click Apply online, choose English , hit Next and accept the terms & conditions.

Not exactly answering your question, but your husband has to file on your behalf. One can only apply for GCMS notes from within Canada. As such, he will need a consent form from you, not the other way around.

If he does it for you and he answers the appropriate questions, he will get prompted for uploading the consent form.

You have to fill it out and give it to him to upload: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5744e.pdf

Hi, not clear as to what you mean by "proper information"? What is improper about what you received?

Keep in mind that information in Gcms Notes does get redacted and for that reason certain information will not be disclosed . See more about this here https://bit.ly/2LeDe9l

Similarly if not all consent forms were provided then it will also result in redaction of information.

You can always re-order but if the request was made correctly the first time around then you will still get the same information by ordering again (plus any progress on the file since the last order)

Does the gcms consent form has to be hand written by both the sponsor and applicant ? Can I (sponsor) type my information on the computer and send it to my husband and he can sign it ? And send it back

Am I able to order the notes as my wife? Can I just fill out my consent form, and fill out the rest and submit it? My wife tends to want me to just take care of it if I can lol

When submitting you have to answer this question in good faith.

Your can order the Gcms Notes even if you have a representative - consultant or lawyer.
It does NOT affect your visa application process in anyway
