Hi Guys

Recently nag pa assess ako ng ECA sa WES. BS accountancy graduate ako and CPA. 4 year course sa Letran Manila. I only got an equivalent of 2 years. Anyone here or with the same case? bakit naman sobrang baba ang equivalent? Thanks
Same case here. Dahil po ata yan sa 10 years lang ang basic education ng Pilipinas, eh sa kanila 12 dahil may senior high school sila. Bawiin na lang po sa IELTS para tumaas ang crs. :)

yung sakin kasi initially gusto lang nila iissue ung regular standard coe, so what i did was get an email endorsement from my boss and the head hr consultant na i'm applying for immi and i need the following details (as indicated in my checklist). lahat ng pinadagdag ko is totoo naman like my job title and description, etc etc. eventually binigay din nila i guess kasi supportado ako ng boss ko.

sa case mo if you're working for a multinational company you can ask for endorsments din -- assuming matinong kausap ung mga boss jan ;D

Depende sa province kung may NOC requirement sila. Iba-iba ang requirements per province. Sa Ontario at SK. May priority NOCs sa SK at 2174/3 ako pero walang NOC requirement sa Ontario.
Hi bellaluna, chanced upon this thread. Panu po malalaman anung NoC ang required per province? I checked Ontario site hindi ko makita. Thanks

Ganoon nga talaga sa Ontario dahil wala silang NOC requirement. :)
For the other provinces, you have to check each province's immigration website. As Miumiu advised, and I gave her +1 because it's how I did it, Google is the fastest way.
What I know are open for now are Nova Scotia, New Brunswick (EOI, by priority), Manitoba (by EOI, ties or experience), Prince Edward Island (EOIs accepted), and Ontario (NOI, invite only) but please check each website to verify. Definitely closed for the year are SK, BC, AB.

Because before the Philippines transitioned this year to the K-to-12 education system, we had 2 fewer years of overall education, which is why Canadian equivalency to a Philippine bachelor's degree would be 2 years of post-secondary study, or a Philippine master's degree would be a Canadian bachelor degree.
Degrees from some top Philippine universities may be recognized as equal to the parallel Canadian degree.

Thanks bellaluna, just for quick info- I know you have probably read through all these provinces and I'm just starting...based on what you have read so far, what do you think is ok out of all these open provinces when it comes to getting a higher chance of being nominated. I am currently sitting at 401 CRS but will become 396 the moment I turn 33 yrs old by end of this year kaya I'm in a rush..late ko na kasi nakita tong CRS, sa FSW kasi 75 ako kahit pa until 35 ang age haay..My work experience is IT and not sure yet which among these provinces have IT jobs. I have 2 kids too, so mas maganda siguro yung maganda ang family environment din.

Thanks a lot for whatever feedback you or anyone can advise.

This is a very general question dear. You do know that each province has different requirements, right? You might not be eligible for all. I strongly suggest you do the research yourself to get a better idea. That was what my husband and I did. If your English is good enough and if you are patient, that takes like only half a day.
Plus, it might be too late to try pnp this year. So next year their policies might change again.

If you want within the year, check the provinces I already mentioned. If you can wait for next year, try Saskatchewan as application is free and all online.
Also, I 100% agree with what Miumiu said about researching for yourself. You must do this by yourself because you know your own profile best.

Hi bellaluna, miumiu,

Yes I Agree too. I would definitely read through and do my research, just want to know people's opinion on these provinces based on what they already know. Thanks for your inputs.

Additional questions lang;

1. Do all provinces require 400 CRS to qualify for PNP nomination or Ontario lang?

2. If you get a visa through PNP I.e Ontario, is this permanent stay on that province/territory or you can have the option of moving to another province later on provided you stay x no. Of years? I'm asking because of practical reasons like despite best efforts you are unable to secure a job in your field and there is an offer to other places within Canada.

Thanks again
