i have not heard of refusals from manila. i was referring to refusals from Nova scotia VO just because of job duties.

I just have a question for the seniors here...and to those who could share some insights on this:

My IELTS will expire on Feb 2011 and I plan to take it again since I tentatively plan to land by April or May 2011 yet, if ever I'd be given the visa. Would it be advisable for me to take the Academic Module this time or take the General Training Module again?

I have a friend who landed there last april and shes a nurse, now shes reviewing for an academic IELTS, she told me that its a bit more pricy there so her advise to me is to do the academic IELTS here.

i submitted 1 copy of the forms to CIO Sydney, Canada yesterday. I did not submit any document to the Manila Visa Office.

to everyone who passed applications after june 26: did you pass 2 copies of the fill up forms(i.e. schedule 1,3,etc) one copy each for NS visa office and Manila VO?

1. im currently pregnant po kasi and my due is on december pa, do i need to wait for december before i submit documents to manila vo? para mainclude ung baby ko sa application, i believe kelangan ata ng bc from nso?

2. and un pu bang mga tor, diploma, prc eh kelangan na ka red ribbon and updated na din ung surname if married na??..

3. panu pu kung ung company ko eh wala naman seal and email or website, okay lang pu ba yun?

hi andreavonn! my tor and diploma still used my maiden name, didn't change it coz the NSO marriage certificate is enough proof that you are married. and no red ribbon too. a letter head will do for companies with no seal. however, the contact numbers and complete address should be included in the letter head.

what module did u take d last time? GT or academic? I took the GT module. my TRF is going to be 1 year in april 2011. valid pa kaya yun? do we really have to retake ielts?

I took the GT module last Feb 2010. I was asking if employers in Canada would still require IELTS, so if ever, I'd have to retake it here before I land.

Hindi po sila nagrerequire ng IELTS.. Canadian experience po usually ang hinihingi nila pati yung SIN (ito yung Social Security number)

ielts is only required for nurses who wants to be registered in canada and that is, academic module..but for those who are not nurses, ielts is no longer a requirement in employment, THOUGH some may require or i think employers has their own way of assessing applicants with regards to language proficiency

sorry, am not sure about this one...i believe one time result is what they want...as what i have learned, only new zealand accepts kind of results, but in canada i dont think so...in manitoba, they only want 6.5 over all band with bands 7 in both speaking and writing...

1 applicant - $550
1 spouse- $ 0 payment (since hubby will not accompany us; he's included in my application
signed a non-accompanying declaration)
2 kids below 18 - $300 (combined; 150 each)

Total fee : $850 Right? I only paid $850.00 Sana po may sumagot....Thanks

i submitted my TOR to CIO and not VO Manila. What do you mean "naka-address". i submitted a certified true copy of my TOR directly to the CIO together with other documents.
