kasi kulang daw yung curriculum... pero anyway, atleast... those are plus points for us...

ako naman, gusto ko sa mga home health care nalang... yung magaan lang, sawa narin ako sa hospital

Hi guys!

I need your advise. Pasensya na ha medyo mahaba tong post ko.I have been reading this forum for a month, and I am more than ready to submit my application form. The problem is, I can't get through with the bank draft. I am here in Saudi in Taif City but in a rural area pa which is 1.5hours away from the city. Been working here at a gov't hospital for almost 7months now. As I understood, my visa office is in Makati, Phils kasi I've been here less than a year pa lang. Which is good kasi Sir Bahrain told me faster processing sa Pinas as compared to my would be visa office sana na London. Anyway, my problem is this bank draft. Since I don't have a credit card, I have to use bd. But my bank Al-Rajhi said that they don't have a receiver in Canada for bd. So the guy said try other banks such as SABB,SAMBA or NCB. Today, nakisuyo ako sa friend ko, she went to the city and her bank is SABB, she said they said that an account name and account number is needed for bank draft. Sa madaling sabi, hindi successful! Sir Bahrain said no need na daw acct number at name, kaya nga daw bank draft. Pero bakit ganun yung sinabi nung teller sa friend ko? Parehas lang ba silang di nakaintindi ng bank draft or case to case basis ang bd sa bawat bank? Now my Plan B is to use the credit card of this doctor here then I'll pay him na lang. Which is medyo malabo din kasi di kami close and when will I pay him? After it has been deducted to his account or right after I send my application? Eh ibang lahi yun. Alam mo masyado komplikado. And if gagamit naman ako cc ng relatives ko sa Pinas or sa Canada, e diba needed ang signature dun sa Payment form? Kaya anlabo ng cc! At kapag ako naman mag-aaply neto, napakatagl pa!And I've read mas madami daw problem kapag cc. e baka masali ko pa sya(yun doctor) sa gulo ng application process, tapos bumalik pa application ko, tapos blah..blah..Plan C is what if yung brother ko na lang magprocess ng application ko sa Pinas? Ang mailing address ko eh sa Pinas pero andito ako sa Saudi? I'll just let him be the one to sign for everything? Yung parang representativ chorvallu? Kasi may BDO at PNB acct ako na for sure madali lang magbank draft at walang hassle compared dito sa disyertong to, plus the fact na hindi kami makaalis ng mag-isa lang kasi nga babae pa. Ano po sa tingin nyo?Ano dapat ko gawin? Pa-advise naman po ASAP!

just received application forms from CNO.. yun muna siguro aasikasuhin ko while waiting for the medicals.. I heard CNO pinakamahirap makakuha eligibility; I am a OR Nurse sa gov't hosp. at part time hospital based CI. Initially sa Manitoba sana plan ko kumuha ng CRNE my relatives din kmi dun; but recently na contact ni hubby yung bestfriend nya at yun nag arrange na sa Toronto kami magland because nag offer din yung friend nya ng jobs (di lng kmi sure kung line of work nya yun) at temporary accomodation until we are finally stable. Goodlucksa mga 3152!

Here are my pieces of advice.

• Sa bank draft pwede sa SABB my receiver general sila ( check your PM)
• Kung mailing address mo eh manila pupuwede din since ang sa kin dapat London visa office din kaya lang mas comfortable ako sa manila office.
• Base on instruction or guide sa cic kung middle east ka residence dapat sa London visa office but I myself Saudi residence ko pero manila visa office ako at wala naman nagging problema.
• Prepare your police clearance na na obtain here in Saudi. Para full submission ng documents mo sa Visa office.
• Kung ang brother mo ang mag process ng papers mo sa phils at nasa Saudi ka ay pupuwede din but you have to make sure na dapat na ka reflect sa application form mo nasa Saudi ka kasi ang current employment mo eh sa Saudi diba. Like me currently nasa Saudi ako pero VO ko manila office

you mean you want to be CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR in canada? is that okay?

i know of some colleagues, they were able to fly off to canada with mercan agency before... and yes they went therer and worked as a nurse assistant first but after passing the CRNE they were able to work as RN already.

@ nars - my answers are:
1. well i think once canadian RN kana... you're life would be much better. being an RN there i think is good.
2. they started as nurse assistant but after passsing the CRNE they became RNs right away.
3. well i heard you could do survival job at first. and it would really depend on your skill.
4. its all up to you really.

Not exactly a Clinical Instructor but as a University Professor teaching Anatomy and Physiology perhaps ;D

i'm a mercan hired... but to no avail wasn't granted a visa... i had my medicals last yr sa nationwide, so i opted to apply again. this time with high hopes as FSW... i have included my CLP, so i can have higher points. ayaw pa kasi namin talaga mag settle... not if we are guaranteed of something na talaga...

anyway, lola bash... the one your referring po na nurse assistant at first then RN... mga ALBERTA HIRED po sila. iba kasi dun. every province vary from protocols as to how they can practice their profession. yun nga lang they had a hard time sa work... di sila naregular... worst! some were sent back to pinas, while others are fighting for their rights to stay... nung nakapasa sila sa CRNE... they weren't offered any jobs na... ang masaklap, nagaral pa sila ng more than a year just to have the "ELIGIBILITY" to take the boards... kasi doon they need to have the SEC na rarely lang nakakapasa mga IENS. as of now, marami pa ako friends na naka tengga... both nov 07 and july 08 alberta hired. Nevertheless, there were also lucky nurses who were hired in SK... pag land nila dun... GN(graduate nurse) na sila, wala SEC na required - exam agad, and right after passing the boards... RN na! 6mos. after ayun! PR na sila... walang kahirap hirap. both feb08 and jan09 almost lahat nurses nasa SK na.

For manitoba naman, sa ibang agency rin,,, mga friends ko sa hospital, naka land narin dun. lenient din sila. pag land, exam agad. RN then PR.

So if you are really wise... then go for provinces na di masyado complex ang processing ng eligibility nila.
I am for SEC sa Alberta... But this time, i'm thinking to apply again sa BC/// mas gusto ko na mag settle dun (if god permits)...

Ngayon, gusto ko muna dumating ang medicals ko, before i do the next move...
Nga pala, if you wanted to be a clinical Instructor, baka mag require din sila ng MASTERAL... i'm just assuming, pero parang ganun na nga... otherwise, you really need to go back to the same old routine... hospital staff nurse.

WoW! I also sought Mercan's services but after a while everything went static. Now I know what happened.
Regarding sa clinical instructor kasi pwede kaya na hindi muna kailangan ipasa ang CRNE para magturo ng Anat & Physio or Med Surg. Kasi yung masteral pwede mo naman makuha yun kahit na nagtatrabaho ka. What do you think?

Hello po.. Char, back from Macau & HK naman kami.. Unwind din tska pampalipas araw din para mag-antay. But fortunately, we got an email last Saturday, passport request na po kami. Nakahanap lang ng free wifi spot kahapon after 4 days of not opening our email, tapos pag-check ko, ayun, email from the embassy na.. Iba din pala yung feeling ng hindi everyday nagchecheck, magugulat ka na lang may important message/letter ka na. ;D Yun lang po, we're just really hoping na dirediretso na 'to.. Hay..
