hello power people,

drop by ... been busy lately.hows everybody?any news yet?goodluck!

hi i was just wondering, how true po kaya ang balita na toh...
i was advising a friend lately to start processing her documents for FSW.
She went to an agency, somewhere in ortigas...

and they said, they are no longer accommodating applicants for FSW
they received daw po a news that beyond may 10,2010 stop na muna ang pag accept nila sa NS-CIC
because they are giving priority to people of HAITI...
my adoptation program daw.
my friend felt sad kasi she was just starting to fill-out the documents and bank draft.

really kyle? parang wla naman akong narinig na ganyang news. i'll try to search the net for any info about that. sana sa mga bagong applicants hnde rin magka problema.

guys, do i also need to submit TOR from my 1st course in college? kse 2nd courser po ako sa nursing. tapos ung diploma and TOR manggagaling ba un directly from the school? addressed lng to visa office? thanks2x po :) hoping my 1st AOR will arrive this may :)

hi guys, where did you get the news na priority ang mga haitians? any website? i checked cic site, wala namang news...i hope its not true...
if its true, yung mga nasubmit before may 10 ipoprocess pa din kaya?

oo nga priority na sila, i saw the notice board sa cic

pero wala namang nka state na they will stop processing all other applications. might take some time lang for others.

???

info came from an agency based sa canada din po...
their office is in ortigas...
pero for more info, wala na po ako alam...

di naman siguro "stop" talaga...
they just need to set priorities muna. like what happened before sa "ondoy"

i'm still hoping nobody gets affected, and fast-track still continue on sending people to canada

2. nurses na ba sila sa canada as of now?
4. alternative jobs for IEN's kun hindi pa pwede magtrabaho as nurse sa Canada.

wala kasi ako matanungan. salamat sa reply :)

Marami po NOC3152 here.
i'm one of them

Looks like we almost have the same time line. I'm planning to teach rather than work bedside even though I've been working as nurse for tertiary hospital for four years. Balitaan mo ako kapag may medical request ka na. I'm pretty sure mine is coming kung meron ka na. Goodluck to all of us and keep our hopes up. :D :D :D

you mean you want to be CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR in canada? is that okay?

i know of some colleagues, they were able to fly off to canada with mercan agency before... and yes they went therer and worked as a nurse assistant first but after passing the CRNE they were able to work as RN already.

@nars - my answers are:
1. well i think once canadian RN kana... you're life would be much better. being an RN there i think is good.
2. they started as nurse assistant but after passsing the CRNE they became RNs right away.
3. well i heard you could do survival job at first. and it would really depend on your skill.
4. its all up to you really.

i'm a mercan hired... but to no avail wasn't granted a visa... i had my medicals last yr sa nationwide, so i opted to apply again. this time with high hopes as FSW... i have included my CLP, so i can have higher points. ayaw pa kasi namin talaga mag settle... not if we are guaranteed of something na talaga...

anyway, lola bash... the one your referring po na nurse assistant at first then RN... mga ALBERTA HIRED po sila. iba kasi dun. every province vary from protocols as to how they can practice their profession. yun nga lang they had a hard time sa work... di sila naregular... worst! some were sent back to pinas, while others are fighting for their rights to stay... nung nakapasa sila sa CRNE... they weren't offered any jobs na... ang masaklap, nagaral pa sila ng more than a year just to have the "ELIGIBILITY" to take the boards... kasi doon they need to have the SEC na rarely lang nakakapasa mga IENS. as of now, marami pa ako friends na naka tengga... both nov 07 and july 08 alberta hired. Nevertheless, there were also lucky nurses who were hired in SK... pag land nila dun... GN(graduate nurse) na sila, wala SEC na required - exam agad, and right after passing the boards... RN na! 6mos. after ayun! PR na sila... walang kahirap hirap. both feb08 and jan09 almost lahat nurses nasa SK na.

RN then PR.

So if you are really wise... then go for provinces na di masyado complex ang processing ng eligibility nila.
I am for SEC sa Alberta... But this time, i'm thinking to apply again sa BC/// mas gusto ko na mag settle dun (if god permits)...

Ngayon, gusto ko muna dumating ang medicals ko, before i do the next move...
Nga pala, if you wanted to be a clinical Instructor, baka mag require din sila ng MASTERAL... i'm just assuming, pero parang ganun na nga... otherwise, you really need to go back to the same old routine... hospital staff nurse.

goodluck po sa lahat!

wow! very informative kyle. thank you... well as for me. i already have my masters degree...

im pretty sure, going abroad for work isn't all that handy dandy, we have to start difficult and hope to incline ourselves to a better job.. so wish all of us Good future...
