Matagal na akong naghihintay KIM kaso lang mas mapalad kayo kasi nag bago ang system ng CIC. It only take 12 months to process your application unlike US that we really have to wait. PATIENCE is virtue but I dunno if if this DREAM of mine will be realized. I'm no longer qualified in the 29 Highly In Demand jobs in Canada.

My friend who applied wayback 2005, 'till now there's no news from the embassy. Looks like we are frustrated already especially reading your messages in this forum. Some of you are worried after few months of submitting your application to the embassy but to think na MAS MALALA pa kami....Nakalimutan na ata kami ng EMBASSY....

Maghintay-hintay lang po kayo. In my case, CEM started to process my papers on January 2005. Our visas were issued on January 17. A while ago, Decision Made na ang ECAS ko. From January 18-25, In Process pero today, DM na.

hi ghing, july4 and other forum members na same timeline ko (August 2nd AOR but no MR yet). i sent an inquiry to the CEM last monday and here is a copy of my email and their reply... ambivalent ang reaction ko after i read the reply. buti na lang mabilis ang response ng CEM everytime I inquire about the status of my application kaya kahit papaano alam ko na na-review na nila yung application ko.

We have received your documents submitted on August 9, 2010.

With regard to your email of January 24, 2011, we are unable to provide a specific schedule
as to when your medical instructions will be sent to you.

We appreciate your understanding while you wait to hear more from us.

I submitted my documents to the Canadian Embassy last August and was issued an acknowledgment receipt that was dated August 13, 2010. After 4 months, my ECAS status changed to 'in process', with the information that my application was reviewed and is being processed starting December 7, 2010. However, I haven't received any correspondence regarding my application and would like to know the current standing of my papers. Don't lost hope,nakapaghintay na kayo na ilang years,so makakaya pa ninyo maghintay pa kaunti ,at least on going pa yon processing nyo.

tama po kayo,na worried kmi mga new system applicants sa dely,kc we are expecting nmn sa Canada CIO,na at least 1 year yon processing nmin.Lalo na on my side,inutang ko yon pera pangbayad sa CIO..

nag-file kami ng application nov 2004, after 1st AOR on March 2005, last Oct 2010 lang kami nakarinig from embassy requiring us to submit updated documents....nagsubmit na kami ng final documents sa embassy dec 21, 2010. and last week i received an email from embassy asking for our NBI clearance and taiwan police clearance since hubby worked in Taiwan for 4 years. wala pa kaming request for medical exam.

very helpful ang mga usapan nyo dito, at least nagkaka-idea kami kung gano katagal na paghihintay pa

congrats sa mga naka-receive na ng visa nila! sana malapit na rin kami.

sa mga pareho kong naghihintay pa rin, don't lose hope...if it's God's will, mangyayari yang inaasam nating dreams.

ching0418 don't lose hope....give you an idea those who received their visa this month is mostly 2004-2005 applicants so they wait only almost a month after they send their passports, it depends on you on how long you would send their request of your docs, so my advice send mo kaagad because you have the chance right now...just a simple advice

hi ching.. i am happy kasi mey movement na ang old applicants. kami kasi august 2005 pa. until now wla pa ding update ng docs. im sure malapit na kayo mag medical. ask ko lang, in between sa pag apply nyo nag submit ba kayo ng any docs sa embassy like update ng passport, etc? thanks in advance. thanks sa advice...yup, as soon as i learned yung additional requirements na nbi clearance at taiwan police clearance, inasikaso na namin kaagad...now, meron na kaming nbi clearance, hinihintay nalang namin yung taiwan police clearance ni hubby, mga 2nd week of feb pa dadatin...pagkakuha namin nun, submit na kami kaagad

nope, hindi kami nagsubmit ng kahit anong docs in between nugn 1st submission tsaka nung may request na embassy...nun nalang naka-receive na kami ng request to send updated documents, naka-lista dun kung ano yung mga kelangan, sabay na sa ielts result, bagong bank statement, kung may addition sa family

tama po ba understanding ko...pero di ba you just need to show that you did the work for at least 1 year in the last 10 years of your work? so dapat covered nung Philippine experience nya yung requirements.

The thing is contract worker sya duon noon right? Base sa LMO nya dapat ang work nya dun sa Canada ay same as what is stated sa LMO noon.... The best thing is write a cover letter sa VO explaining na contract worker sya noon sa Canada and he was hired under LMO ( kung ano nakaindicate, metal factory ba iyun? ) then he will emphasize na nag wewelding sya as part of his job description dun but he cannot secure a license since he was hired as metal factory worker base sa LMO nya. Then pirmahan nya sa baba ..no need ng ipanotarised sa lawyer.. Goodluck

i am not sure kung hihingian pa kayo ulit...pero kse di ba may expiration yung ielts...pero sana hindi na ipaulit no?

sa case ko, last dec 2010 lang ako nag-take ng ielts, nung after ko ma-receive yung request nila for updated docs

sana nga ching. minsan nakakapagod na mag antay. mey iba na kasi opportunity na napalagpas kasi nga mey application sa canada. nandun na ksi ang sister ko so inantay na lang nmin ang canada. sobrang tagal din inantay natin. biruin mo mag 6 yrs na tau dis yr. hayyyyyyyyyyy..

oo nga, alam mo sa totoo lang, kami rin ganyan...palaging mga hindi tinutuloy yung ibang plans at reject ibang opportunities kse nga kino-consider na baka biglang may balita na dito sa application...anyways, isipin nalang natin na si God lahat nakakaalam ng best plan...and everything would be perfect in His perfect time din.

pero malaking tulong itong forum na to, at least mejo nae-enlighten tayo kung meron pa ba tayong inaasahan or wala...and informative din sya para sa mga preparations na kelangan gawin...kaya update-update nalang tayo kung ano na mga developments sa applications natin.

October 2004 ko naipasa ang application ko. May IELTS na ako that time. Nung 2009, nagpa-update ang CEM. My immigration lawyer told me to take another IELTS. And so I did. May visa na kami ngayon. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your info vinceRN. Mag email din kaya ako ulit? Kasi yung sa amin received by visa office pa rin. After 90 days of 2nd AOR nag email ako before, sabi check nga daw sa ecas ang status, di naman nga nagbabago till now.

Kailangan pa ba ng affidavit of support sa DSWD para sa mga anak namin paglipad namin going canada? Require pa ba yun sa phil. immigration although kami naman na parents niya ang kasama sa biyahe. we have 2 kids 4yo and 2yo.
