maharlika,

you're doing the right thing. let me give u an overview. ang minimum wage dito sa ON is $10.25, un ung sa McDo etc... for students actually not a serious one. next the lowest in the food chain (sa healthcare) is yung PSW parang CNA sa US, they get about $14-$18 per hour, pero dapat may BLA or ALS ka, so if you have certificates, bring them with you. PSW lang muna inaaplayan namin dito kasi kakahintay sa assessment na yan. next, RPN mga $22-$24 per hour ang starting, with the salaray, u can buy a car and pay for the rent, u can send your show money back to where it came from (if nanghiram ka lang)... next is RN (now this one is tough, they'll make sure you'll get a hard time qualifying for this. reason: we only have 10 yrs basic education and the canadians have 12). 29 dollars sa homes starting 30 plus sa hospital. yung pinsan ko na kalaro ko lang nung araw, 24 y/0 pa lang $42 per hour! she has a nice JEEP patriot.. anyway, now, since mahirap magpa assess ng RN and kelangan ko na mag work, pinalipat ko ung assessment ko from RN to RPN, it cost me about $470. just think about it... mahirap mag PSW, back breaking work un...

kiko,

tnx a lot...ang swerte naman ng pinsan mo...sana ikaw din makakahanap ka rin ng magandang work dyan...God bless sa inyo ng family mo

chinay,

d ba ipapasa mo pa lang ang full docs mo? so, if mag pass ka na ng full docs mo, u include na your hubby in your application at sa form na e fifill up mo...pay the required fee for your hubby addressed to CANADIAN EMBASSY, MANILA check rin yan in our currency na, then write a cover letter stating the changes in ur application, comply all the needed papers including ur hubby, most important is your marriage contract in secpa...yon lang, at e mail mo na lahat in one package only

Guys,

Got my medical request this morning, just a couple days from the date my ecas changed to "in process." :D

Hoping to be enlightened on these matters, though: ;)
1- Is the date stamped on the medical report/form under the photo, the reckoning date of the 60 day-period to have the medical exam? (which is also the same date as the VO's letter correspondence.)
2- Should the required 4 pcs photos to be brought to the DMP be the same as the photo previously submitted to the VO, or do we have to take a new shot?
3 - Will i have to send the RPRF to the VO, too?

thanks...

Kailangan ba ng cenomar? I checked the Manila VO, walang mention about a cenomar. Birth Certificates lang and Marriage Certificates.

Please advice if kailangan yan.

to all awaiting their medical requests,

i've followed the advice posted by some seniors here re: contacting the postman assigned to the address you have declared to the VO. and it really paid off in my case. What i did was, about 2 weeks ago, i went to our local post office to check whether I have mail matters from the VO, and at the same to "meet" the postman assigned to us. However, it took me 3 visits to the post office before i was able to meet mr. postman. good enough, he was very accommodating and gave me his mobile #. then after a few days, i texted him and sent him some load, so that he would be able to notify me once there's a mail for me. but this morning, to my surprise, he delivered my MR, which i was expecting to receive in a couple of weeks yet. (coz based on the timetable i've read here, the average # days from "in process" to MR is approximate 2 weeks).

so, while waiting for your ecas to change to "in process", go and seek mr. postman. ;) goodluck!

From the date of the letter. 60 days, including weekends and holidays.

Recent Passport-sized pictures. If the pictures are two months old better have a new one taken.
3 - Will i have to send the RPRF to the VO, too?
Did the RPRF request letter came with the medical request form? If yes, the instruction is clearly stated there, the amount, how to send it and to whom it is payable to.

thanks...

hello mga kabayan in UAE, just want to ask if we requires to submit both police clearance and NBI clearance in london visa office, may kasama kc ako dito sa work na nag submit na ng full documents nila sa london, per ung agent nila just ask NBI clerance lang kc un lang daw and hinihingi ng london office for Filipino apllicants. Is it true? Because i went to consulate and they just giving form for NBI clearanace, and they said that for police clearance i need to go back to philippines and apply personally.
