Hello friends!

please help me to understand why my profile is not eligible.

age - 30
education - master's degree
IELTS - L8 R6.5 W6.5 S8.5
work exp - more than 6 years
NOC 1524

funds for 2 more than 20k

I've tried to submit an app several times, but the system didn't register me in the pool...

The response doesn't make sense since I've passed the initial questionnaire.

can it be that IELTS certificate number is not valid in general? I passed an exam June 2017, so it's fresh...WES certificate is OK also.

I'm really confused, need your help...thanks.

Ann

the response is:

Your Express Entry profile has been reviewed and we have determined that you are not eligible for Express Entry at this time.

Below are a few examples of why a candidate will be found ineligible: • not having a valid language test, • language test results that are more than two years old, • a language test score that is too low, • not having enough relevant work experience, • not having the required education level, • not having enough funds.

I must first of all say i am impressed at the amount of information available here and the assistance given. It is commendable.

Secondly, i need advise.
I did ECA for my bachelors and Masters. I received my evaluation from WES on Monday and they noted a difference on my date of birth and also a difference on my name on the certificate for the bachelors. The school told me they had done the change but it seems it was done after they had sent the documents to WES. However, the Master evaluation is okay.

Can i go ahead and use it? If not, what should i do?

pls assist. thanks

hello guys,

I have one question here regarding my working hours for EE
I have worked since 1st April 2017 in Noc B category as a full time.
I understand that 1 year and 1560 hour is required to be able to be eligible for EE.
Then am I able to apply for EE on the date of 1st April next year? and is it okay to quit my job after I submit my profile when I am going through CEC?

I have enough funds in my bank, but if I go through CEC, it is not necessary to show a proof of funds and simply input 0 in my profile, am I right?

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
Perfect! This is really valuable

Hello Everyone,
I got my Master degree transcript in general envelope instead of an official academic institute envelope though it is sealed and have a signature is on the back flap of the envelope perfectly.
Please suggest should I send the transcript to WES? Thanks!
Yes go ahead with that (it was my case and it worked for me)...
Good luck!

437 is a great score which should get you an ITA soon. If you get an invitation before the baby is born you will have 90 day to submit the PR application. So, if possible you can wait until the baby is born and you have the passport. If not, you can go ahead and submit the application and without your wife's x-ray and the babies passport. These can be submitted later on through Case Specific Enquiry. You will just need to make note of this in your LOE. The medical report you get will also mention this.

My advise to you is while you prepare your POF include the baby as well.

All the best
Hi,
I confirm what TanakaM said, it was exactly my case: ITA on 09/20/2017, and delivery on 03/09/2018.
You can proceed with the x-ray for your wife when it's safe for the bb, when mentioning to the accredited doctor that your wife is pregnant she will ask you if you wanna proceed with the chest x-ray, and if you said no she will mention that in the report (emedical for our case).
All the best!

So, if you say no, to the chest x-ray, when ur wife is pregnant, what happens next? Can it be skipped altogether?

In any case you can't skip the chest x-ray for your pregnant wife: The chest x-ray is just postponed.
The immigration will accept your application and your file will be on hold till they receive the missing x-ray.
The doctor will give you a paper generated by the system that she used (emedical): It's a proof for the immigration officer that your wife is pregnant and that the radiologue (x-ray doctor) didn't proceed with the x-ray for your wife.
Then as soon as we'll be able to do the x-ray we'll be doing that.

Hi,

It is difficult to say as every case is different. A realistic expectation is 4 months but could be less or more.

regards

Hi,

Just for the sake of clarity, they actually don't put it on hold from the onset. They process everything, and then wait for the x-ray.

Hello, My national ID doesnt have any expiry date, so I havent added it to the ID document file. Should I add it anyway?
That doesnt matter. If im not mistaken it says "if applicable" next to the expiry section. You can add it.
