Hi, all.

I am almost finished with my PR application. However, I do not want to pay the RPRF upfront (Right for Permanent Residency Fee)! But whenever I proceed to sign, transmit and pay, it requires me to pay the full sum (including the RPRF), I can't find where can I indicate I'm only paying the mandatory submission fees. I do know that RPRF can be paid until the PR is approved, but just can't find where to choose not to pay during submission...

As far as I know WES has changed its India policy. Universities should directly send transcripts to WES and students are not supposed to send them.
I understand WES sends mail but why would WES send a courier to your University?

"Should I request my university to reply to WES via email or courier.? "
First ask your University to respond through email. But who in your University will respond? Who's the designated person to respond to WES about you on University's behalf? Have you talked to your University people yet?
Its the department who deals with the examination. I normally make my request at reception of examination department through a written application plus their required fees.

Hi,

I know question related to PCC and Medical may have been asked several times, however, I would really appreciate if someone can clear my doubts.

I stay in USA and my husband is a primary applicant. From past 3 weeks he is on a business tour in India. Before he left USA, we got the PCC clearance certificate from Indian Consulate and fingerprinting sent to FBI, received the clearance certificate within an hour. Now my doubts are:

1) For Police Certificate in USA : Can the same FBI electronic letter( pdf copy) in black and white ink be uploaded in the PR application?
Somewhere, I read PCC should be scanned in color.

2) For Medical Exam : Can he give his medical exam in India instead of USA ? He wont be coming to US for 2 more weeks and our application submission deadline is nearing.

Any leads on the above question is highly appreciated.
Hi,

Did you get the answer for your first question?

Hi,
On 13/Dec/19 (before ITA) , I submitted from work experience from 1/Jan/2017 to present and the system gave me 471 points by counting it as 3 years, despite the fact that 3 years were not complete yet. I received ITA on 19/Dec/19 and I submitted e-APR on 16/Feb/2020.

Do you think I am on risk? Can VO count my experience as 2 years because of missing 6 working days?

Dear forum people ,

I am really confused regarding my situation. I need advise regaring my application to express entry and quebec work permit application.

We submitted documents for express entry with my wife as the primary applicant and received AOR last week.

I got a i year post doc which is a LIMA exempt offer in Quebec last year and due to delay in my PhD i couldn't join the , but the University agreed to wait till the finish my PhD. Now I finished my PhD and we are not sure when we are going to receive PPR.

I wanted to apply for work permit as don't want to let them wait anymore and also can't wait any longer as I not working now.

Will it be a problem for my EE profile if I apply quebec work permit when my EE is under processing?

Is it okay if alone move to quebec and let my wife who is primary applicant stay outside of canada till we receive PPR?

Is it possible to convince the visa officer as my work contract is just for an year and we intend to move away from Quebec after an year?

I hope your experience should help me in dealing this situation

Thank you

Hi all, can some one please help me with below query to fill application form after receiving ITA? I have been reading various post and many people had same question in past but I do not see any one posted answer for this.

Please tell us about XXX's immediate family members that have not been identified in the application. This includes any parent, any spouse or common-law partner, any child including adult children, and any brothers or sisters. If the relative is deceased, provide the date of death.

This question appears for my child. I can not mention my name and my wife as we have already Identified ourselves in the application. other option provided in the drop down are not applicable.

How should I answer this question?

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
this is excellent easy step by step way, however I have a specific query related to the BC Tech Pilot Express Entry. I registered an online profile https://www.pnpapplication.gov.bc.ca/ and to proceed have 2 choices based on what I could gather from Canadian CIC and BC Gov sites.

1. Express Entry BC – Skilled Worker or 2. Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker based on other information related to the BC EE Tech Pilot for BC I'm part of the 29 eligible jobs and also fall under NOC 0213 which is a category A

Under Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker I'm concerned over 2 points mentioned

- An offer of indeterminate, full-time employment in a NOC Skill Type 0 or NOC Skill Level A or B occupation from an eligible B.C. employer
- Valid English language proficiency test results for NOC B occupations

So confused since requiring an offer can that only be obtained if you are currently in Canada or there is a way to apply and here also ILETS not mandatory since my Job Code is NOC A

Under Express Entry BC – Skilled Worker I see the following mentioned
- Valid English language proficiency test results
- An offer of indeterminate, full-time employment in a NOC Skill Type 0 or NOC Skill Level A or B occupation from an eligible B.C. employer

and in this document

https://www.welcomebc.ca/getmedia/14a55c84-1301-4959-8a5d-888785a2ac2a/BC-PNP-Skills-Immigration-and-Express-Entry-BC-Program-Guide.pdf.aspx

I read the following information

"If the occupation offered to you is classified under NOC Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A, you are not required to submit valid language test results at the time of registration unless you are claiming points for language." so my question is do I need ILETS score?

I want to know which is best option to choose to continue BC Profile registration

I'm giving some details about me which may help advisers as want to opt for BC EE Tech Pilot :
Age: 44 yrs
Occupation Code : NOC A - 0213
Total Exp : 22 yrs, last 10 in NOC A 0213 job profile
Education - 3 yr Regular Degree and MBA distance Learning
Spouse - Regular Degree holder

Other important details : Have Canadian PR bur PR expired very long back. Was in Canada from Dec2003 to May 2006. I do not know if PR has been automatically revoked (if at all that happens) as want to explore if I can revive PR or what is best way

Hello,

Need some guidance and help. I submitted my application for PR on Feb 29.

Yesterday’s I got an email that my application has been rejected due to “missing document” which they further explained that my australian police certificate is incorrect and I should see guidelines in the link they provided. However the information they have provided in the link is exactly how I applied for the certificate. Exactly the same way!

What to do?? I had a provincial nomination.... do I appeal??
