My status hasn't changed after Medicals passed. My background still shows that next step is to conduct this check.

I've come to the conclusion they only work on Thursday and Friday..seems like that is when everything happens.

Medical Passed - 17 March 2017 (No email received from CIC for this status change)
Background Check - In Progress - 18 March 2017 (Email received from CIC for this status change)
Background Check - Not Required - 07 April 2017 (No email received from CIC for this status change)

I expect most of us have got our PPR and COPR by now. I'm just curious to know if anyone has gone by road (driving your own car) and what they experienced at the border (US and Canada side).

I got the golden email on Friday May 19, 2017. My AOR was on January 25, 2017. FSW - O from the US.
Where do US folks get their PR photos taken? Will CVS/Walgreens etc take photos fitting the requirements?
