Yes it does change.
In my case it has two points:
1. We received your application for PR on December 10, 2012
2. Medical results have been received.

Check with you Doctor to confirm when he sent the Medical report to CIC.

Yeah, I think I'll do that... I'm kind of worried now.

First, let me congratulate you for the Medicals and the progress Anagram, what is puzzling me is that we both have same the NOC code and I applied just one day after you, but till date, I have no further communication or intimation from CIC. WEIRD.

Anyways, Good luck Anagram.

No worries man, I've seen people who end the process with the status of "App. received". As long as you continue receiving your MR's, RPRF,PPR. Who cares what does it say right?

got my mr yesterday as well. my application was received on dec 31, 2012 so it took exactly 9.5 months. hang in there guys good news is around the corner.

Congrats !

Can you share your noc?

No worries Anagram. Even my ECAS online status was showing Application recieved until I get my PPR. The very next day its changed to InProgress , Medicals recieved and now its Decision Made. It should change soon for you as well.

How nice would it be if they could follow a fairly consistent ECAS process for all? :)

I appreciate that they don't want to give away too much info for security reasons, but really?

1) Your application has been received.
2) We sent you an AOR on XXXXXXXX.
3) We have started to review your application package
4) Your application has been reviewed and an initial decision has been made. We will contact you regarding this.
5) Your application is in process.
6) We sent you communication regarding medicals, please follow these instructions carefully.
7) Your medical results have been received.
8) We have started the final processing of your application.
9) A decision has been made on your application. We will contact your shortly regarding this decision.
10) Application completed.

Really? Would it really be that hard to adapt their management system to provide this kind of info with the flow of the process? Even if it took 6 months in between each stage, I think all applicants would be so much more at ease with the process.

The lack of inconsistency between ecas, mr, bio, rprf, ppr and general correspondence is what causes the bulk of concern for applicants.

I agree that current process is a black hole.
