How nice would it be if they could follow a fairly consistent ECAS process for all? :)

I appreciate that they don't want to give away too much info for security reasons, but really?

1) Your application has been received.
2) We sent you an AOR on XXXXXXXX.
3) We have started to review your application package
4) Your application has been reviewed and an initial decision has been made. We will contact you regarding this.
5) Your application is in process.
6) We sent you communication regarding medicals, please follow these instructions carefully.
7) Your medical results have been received.
8) We have started the final processing of your application.
9) A decision has been made on your application. We will contact your shortly regarding this decision.
10) Application completed.

Really? Would it really be that hard to adapt their management system to provide this kind of info with the flow of the process? Even if it took 6 months in between each stage, I think all applicants would be so much more at ease with the process.

The lack of inconsistency between ecas, mr, bio, rprf, ppr and general correspondence is what causes the bulk of concern for applicants.

Then we would understand the process better. Nah... CIC has its own inconsistent process which makes them to stand out ;)

But it ought to be done.

My take on it is simple....
They don't give a f-ck

Hello all, I just received MR for me and my wife. Application submitted on Dec 31. Noc 2171.

Thanks,

Congrats cec4111.... Me too in the same NOC code but submitted the application on Dec 4th. Hope to get mine as well.

good luck with rest of the process.

I did my medical today. It went fairly well and fast. I was a little surprised that the doc didn't check me but just asked if I had any major surgeries and any history of illnesses. I answered no and he just send me to do the chest X-ray, urine and blood test done. Overall, ok experience, friendly and nice doc but thought he would have examined me. Feel like a waste of $ but I guess whatever! Haha all the best guys

I'm tired of waiting for dec applicants get their MR. I'm jan 6th applicant. Same noc 2171. I don't know what's happening in Ottawa.

BigBee - did you order gcms notes?

Hey EDS.... I dont think I can order for GCMS notes, looks like you have to be in Canada for this.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Correct, one has to be in Canada to order gcms. However, you can also request a friend or family member who is currently in Canada to order gcms. You just need to provide a authorization letter (regular letter scan/ email ).
