I am new to this forum and have applied for PR under CEC category on 4th Dec 2012. My current status shows "Application Received" with no further communication.

Could someone please tell me what could be the approximate timeline to expect for the approval?

What the heck is happening around..? More than a Dozen people who applied between Jan 2013-April 2013 have received their MR's between 0ct-9th and Oct 12th.. I don't understand why none of us in Dec list...who applied after Dec 17th haven't received any thing as yet.

You should realise even people from sept are waiting too

I truly have lost my mind .. There are people who applied in sept and October waiting for MR. At the same time feb, march and April applicants are getting MR, rprf etc. w t f is going on?

Application status still says "application received" but clicking on the hyperlink it says
2) medical results have been received

@ gladki, I understand that, When I see status of Apr 2013, I also see the status of Sep 2012. If some one from July 2012 doesn't receive anything , does it mean that I should stop trying to know about my application? I am in fact little amused Why none of the applications between 18th Dec and 31st Dec have any updates (Not even one). Just trying to share that with my fellow buddies here. Thanks

But can't join company without PR..;( so u can

Kaanva , I understand your concern , look at my case i am an march applicant , people before me in the same month and after me have received but i have no news , so dont worry we all are waiting tc

100k....and frustrated? i'd be pissed!!! i'm almost in the same boat as you now. got a very nice offer with a sizeable increase in pay....but have less than 5 months to produce PR, otherwise they will rescind it. luckily for me, they had a temporary gig that I was able to secure in the meanwhile. but, as you said...in the end, without a PR, its gonna suck! ???
