Hello Members

I am a Dec-2012 applicant and have received RPRF and Biodata request today. Can you please guide me about what i need to do now? Is it just like Pay the fees and fill the bio data and send it?

Also what about Addition in the family question, we are expecting in Jan-Feb 2014 so should i say yes to this question and send a doctors note? Or should i finish this process (pay the fees and send bio data) and then wait for Medicals?

Please help....

I would suggest you to send bio data , pay rprf and also inform about future childbirth. If your child is born in canada, there should not be any other step in your application. I feel that you will get your pr before dec 2013.

Would you mind sharing your details? I.e application filed date, aor date, noc?

Thanks,

Congrats for your Medicals and Congratulations for your family on Pregnancy.
Pls inform CIC about due date and other details.. They will guide you from there.. If you are in Canada and if your landing finishes before delivery it is different than if you are in India and planning delivery there. You may address Senoritabella or some other seniors here in Forum(In subject line) for better guidance. Create a new post for guidance addressing Seniors in subject line.

Thanks

How you can complete your medical if your wife is expecting?
In Canada Doctors will not do x-ray if any lady is pregnant and without x-ray the medical is incomplete.

Your application will be anyway in hold till you are in a position to complete the medical for your wife. Not sure if there is some other way.

Some members here who are pregnant have done full Medicals. You just have to call ahead and make sure the doc will do it.

Thank you kaanva....

I am in canada...and delivery will happen here in canada...I want to inform CIC about the new addition and dont want to do Xray as it is not good at this stage of pregnancy...but should i wait till the Medical Request is coming and then do all the testes except Xray for her...and complete this RPRF and send it across...

Will they hold my medical request if i will send them information about the new addition in my family?

For that you have to lie !!

We went for medical last week and doctor clearly told that they wont do x-ray if my spouse pregnant.
First question they asked from my spouse was that only.

I am clear that i will do the medicals after child birth..I have only 2 questions:

1. Should I complete RPRF process ,pay the fees and don't tell anything about pregnancy now and wait till medical request come?

2. Should I complete RPRF process and tell about pregnancy? Will it cause delays in my medical request?

***SENIORS PLEASE HELP****

I would advise you not to lie to CIC about anything. As for your 2 questions, If I were in your place, I would opt for 2. Inform them about the pregnancy... what if tht might speeds up your process...

I've been watching dec thread - I hardly see any updates reg med, biodata and rprf. Lot of entries in the tracker sheet without any updates.

I don't think folks at Ottawa are doing nothing. With strike over, I demand some good news!

They must be in celebrating mode:)

For all december applicants, its 10 months only. Things move in between 12-13 months. As the strike got over recently, there seems to be backlog of applications. So there is possibility of delay as well.

If you see the tracker for December, you'll see that a lot of people have already got Mr a while ago. However, since last couple of weeks, there is no update!

Hello eds,

As you already know my case, do you think I have to update CPP-Ottawa with my spouse's job and NOC code?
I have just updated them so far about his work permit but not about job he got.

I thought it is not needed as I am principal applicant.
If needed, I need to see how I can update it.

Thanks
Saranya.
