Can anyone give me the link to order GCMS notes? I was waiting until I got to Canada to order them and now that I'm here I can't find the link to request them. Thanks!!

Quick question - if you have nothing to import, what do you do?

Say "no" when they ask at the border if you have anything to declare or import. Then they'll ask if you have goods to follow, and again, you'll say "no." And then you'll be done!

One more questions.....am I requesting this under Access to information act or privacy act?

I can never remember, I think ATIP, but I just follow the application and use whichever one works!

Sounds grumpy. Got it!

Thanks, I'm confused on the UCI number. I am the applicant so technically the sponsor is the UCI number I thought but I don't have a UCI number so I hope my wife's UCI number works. Ugh!!

Your UCI will come with your PPR, so if you haven't yet received PPR, your only option will be your wife's. Good luck - the process takes almost exactly 30 days.

Thanks for the info Ivan. I'm thinking about ordering notes too. Almost 4 weeks since PPR and eCAS still stuck at "Application Received", even though I got an e-mail from the VO saying they received everything fine about 1.5 weeks ago. I think I will wait another week or so for an eCAS update.

Thanks for the help. I think I messed up though. I am living here in Canada but considering myself a "visitor" since I am from the USA. I requested the notes for myself but didn't provide proof that I am living here. I don't know if they will process it. I should have ordered them through my wife's name but I didn't. Ugh!!

I just ordered mine too. We've been waiting 48 days since PPR documents sent and still Application Received status as well. And VO will not email back to let us know they got the documents. And for my own curiosity! ;)

You can still do it through your wife's name - nothing prevents both of you from submitting requests. But I don't think they ask for proof if you give a Canadian address.
