During the process, I tried to ignore the passage of time and stayed busy getting our house ready to sell, preparing B4s, packing, etc. Hang in there!

This is great advice. As much as I love this forum for all the help and support that the great people here share, it is sometimes good to step away every so often and focus on other things. It helps you relax and helps the time pass.

Congrats amikety

when did you receive your COPR

Does anybody here act as the representative for their sponsored spouse ? Did you have luck getting CIC to answer your emails ?or at least acknowledge receipt of any update note you send ?....
I include all sponsored info and my info in the email as instructed but yet no response. I wonder is it because it is not the main applicant.

I think someone asked this question before but I can't remember if it was ever answered so I'll ask again - does anyone know of any cases where someone received COPR before eCAS was ever updated from "Application Received"? Just curious if this has every happened given the unpredictability of eCAS updates.

This morning. Our mail lady actually rang the door bell to give it to me in person. It's dated August 1, 2013 - so mailed day after Decision Made.

For anyone curious - It does have a "Conditions Field."

Conditions:

51: Must Cohabit in a conjugal relationship with your sponsor for continuous period of two years after the day on which became a PR

I'm also surveillance code "1" for medical..... they might be on to me.

There are several people that have shared their experiences with this, although I don't remember any usernames off the top of my head.

Ottawa, well ALL the VOs actually, are infamous for only replying when they feel like it.

Yup, that is the new law from Oct 2012. A good law if you ask me.

My Ecas still says in process and I received my PPR almost a month ago

thanks for the response and congrats for your COPR.
Does it help if the main person try to contact CIC from different email ?...
They did contacted me with PPR copy one time but i have been trying to send them update and i asked for acknowledgement but no response...

The only thing I can really suggest is to make sure you're including enough information to identify yourself. Make sure to quote UCI #, File #, and DOB for the applicant when trying to contact them.

Did you fill out the Use of Representative form?

And thanks! :)

It should work. However it is also good to include a copy of the representative document with EVERY request you submit to CIC. Otherwise, they have to go look it up to verify it and that means you'll likely just be ignored - like they usually do.
