I was hoping she was, but seeing her age I don't really think so. Who knows how many they mixed up anyways, since it was approved right before holidays, December 30th. It is kind of scary knowing that I received all her personal info (and that someone else has mine), but CIC call agent was completely relaxed about it - I can't understand that.

Thank you, I am not afraid of this, it's their mistake (although they don't care), and a "minor" think after everything else, so it's just a think of getting info what to do, and then heading for the border Hoping they didn't change anything about "administrative refusal" while flag poling...

no, i don't think anything has changed. it's just been noted by some recently that the canadian side actually prefers it if you enter the us for a bit, then return.

Just got a call from the MP. I will have to send back a copy of my CoPR and passport, and the CoPR from the other person, and they will send me the other copy. The good thing about going through the MP is that their liaison made sure they will expect my letter and urgently deal with it (since I have about 4 more weeks to land). She also told them I will be flag poling without US visa, and they said it won't be a problem.

So I take this as good news (except more waiting)...

My Medicals expired yesterday (as in I did them one year ago yesterday),buyi havnt had any contact from CIC requesting to do them again or saying they will extend them?

Should I have heard from them before they expired?or is it normal for them to contact you after the expiry date?

It probably depends on what stage you're at and how long it takes for your file to finish. Mine expired 12/2, I got IP on 12/29 and then DM yesterday with no request for a new one. I've read somewhere that if you are close to done, they extend them for a little while. If they need a new onr, they'll notify you. It may not be right after it expires though.

Well hopefully mine is close to done!i remember reading somewhere that if your application is close to done and your Medicals expire,it seems to give CIC a push to get it finished and wrapped up,rather than request another medical.hopefully that is the case!

Permanent Residence parents
1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 18, 2010.
2.We started processing your application on January 13, 2014.
3.Medical results have been received 2014 Feb
4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision 2014 Feb

Medical was done Jan 15 2014.

In July we got an Email from CPC- M asking us to ignore the request for passport notice which I have never seen such Email.

Then our case got transferred to CPC-O in Aug 2014.

In Oct 2014 we were asked :
In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Ø Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature
Ø 1. Please have applicant submit a detailed personal history background 1970-present, including the following;
Ø a. Job titles (Manager, Director, Technician)
Ø b. Names of businesses/government department
Ø c. Specific duties related to position(s)
Ø d .Dates
Ø e. Locations
Ø f. Names of supervisor(s This must be received at this office by: 2014/10/10

We supplied all documents within deadline.
We have not heard something till today Jan 2015 , the medical results are about to expire in a few more days
We have been sending Emails, FAX, registered letters more than 10 times to inquiry on the case.....and no response at all!!!

Any friend has similar experience with us? what happens if the medical expires? What would most like to happen?

As far as the medicals, depending on where you are in the process, they will extend them for a bit to give you time to finish. Not sure how long though. Unless, that has changed. Mine expired on 12/2 and I was never requested to send more and mine went DM on the 10th of this month.

Thanks for your reply. We had our DM cleared right after Medical done in 2014 Feb which was almost a year ago. We are still waiting the passport request as today, one year after it says decision made.

Yeah , especially because it's been a LOOOOONG time for me. I'm going tor get the photocopy of the darn thing and hopefully get it sent off tomorrow and who knows how long this will take. I'm going to write on it that my medicals expire 3/25 ( they were extended already) so please don't drag your feet. Hopefully, it takes just weeks not months. Have you sent yours back yet? If so, what address did you send yours to? There's one listed on there but the way it was worded I want to double check.

So sick of this.is their job really that difficult?im in Canada,I have job offers,but Im not allowed to work.

It cost over a grand to apply,and for that,you don't even get a phone number that you can talk to an actual person about your application.

So sick of checking my status everyday only to see "application received" day after day.
What is the hold up?what is so difficult about this?
I'm so frustrated with this whole process.
