1. Hi I have my file number , and I still on work permit with my employer. My work permit will expire in 11 months. The CIC website say I can only apply for BOWP 4 months before my current work permit expires. Just a quick question if my employer is not following what's on my contract, am I Eligible to apply for BOWP Or any open work permit? Thanks

Hi I think you can apply for an open work permit but you need solid reason why you don't want to work with that employer.. Also these process will required lawyer..

Thanks , there has been absolutely no change in Express entry profile. Following is my timeline
AOR JUNE 14 ,2019( FSTC PROGRAM) PAINTER INLAND
MEP JUNE 17 , 2019
BOWP APPLICATION JULY 3, 2019
BOWP APPROVAL OCT 23, 2019
NO CHANGES TO MY PROFILE TILL TODAY.

I applied for my BOWP right after applying for PR through CEC. Later on in my application processing, I realized my work experience letter was outdated and submitted a new one with a new LOE through the web form.

Today, the status on my BOWP application changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". My PR application has not been updated since the first ever ghost update. Wondering if this means my new experience letter was reviewed and accepted and my PR application finally passed the completeness check.

We have similar application dates. What do you mean by "my work experience letter was outdated"?

Basically I had previously applied to the OINP and I used the same employment letter but it only showed 4 months of work experience, not a full year. Additionally, the letter did not state my job duties.

If I had stuck with that letter I would probably have been rejected! Instead of got an updated, correct letter from work and submitted it through web form.
